Thanks for the link. I don't see how the killer being a 'monster' fits in with the 'upsetting' tagline though. I've given up trying the solve the mystery for the time being- but I've got two people in particular tied for first place.

Cindy is a suspect, has anyone cracked this particular clue?

DTC didn't say the killer is 'a monster', he said the killer is 'among them'. But it got misheard and he was misquoted.

I know it seemed like a silly question, it just didn't sound like something anyone would say. Guess I'll have to watch the scene again, though wasn't Cindy confronting Ian about not being at the restaurant?

DTC just retweeted that the killer will be revealed in the flashback episode…so I wonder if the 30-minute live episode is the flashback episode? I was hoping Ian & Jane's wedding would be live & someone is arrested at the wedding party in the Vic and then the flashback episode kicks in...

Has it been established yet why Lola lied in her alibi? Did I miss it?

That scene...

Ian was horrified to find The Walford Gazette came to interview Cindy and Ian about the restaurant.

Cindy said she did NOT see him at the restaurant - despite that being Ian's alibi.

Do we know which date they changed the killer? And should we a) be looking at only the second set of data for clues or b) should we not worry about the change in killer by writers as all suspects/actors unaware if they are guilty? Please/thanks :)

Mid-September.

Dominic Treadwell-Collins has admitted that while there were initial changes before any scripts were written, he would never cheat the audience by changing the killer now the story is playing out on screen.

We'll see.

Mid September was after the story started playing out on screen?

I'm sure the original idea was to tie it all more closely with Ronnie, Charlie and Nkck.

She's not actually saying that in the scene is she? It's just a caption for the gif. In the actual scene she's saying something about giving Ian a false alibi.

Oh wow!

Could this be due to Jacqueline's maternity leave? If it was originally Lauren.....

I'm sorry, I've seen nothing at all that suggests that. I find it very hard to believe they would change the killer to come 'from the heart' as late as five months into the story, when in April they already said just as much. I don't buy it.

First I've heard or read of the killer being changed which I find hard to believe on such an important storyline for the show.
