Who Killed Lucy?; All the theories

My fella has a good theory

Lauren is prob the guilty person?? What if she killed lucy and is trying to shift the blame onto someone else so it would take the attention off her, that's prob why she has become detective again

so she can lead the investigation down the wrong path and so she can feel better and relieved to pass the blame onto someone else

The Lauren theories are all well and good, but the actress won't actually be there to play it. I know Jacqueline Jossa has probably filmed some scenes to air during the anniversary week, but she won't be there for any live stuff, which I assume the killer will have to do.

Its wracked my brain trying to figure it out but i believe Denise is responsible just a hunch.

shes kept it all within and shes been through a lot with Owen, Lucas and Kevin over the years and then getting with Ian and him making her recent months nothing but misery

she's prob hiding it well maybe shes had a breakdown or phsyco phase of her own and we have seen how she's abused patrick lately the stress of holding herself together has slowly eaten away at her, maybe she wanted Lucy to see that she had, what she didn't??

Lucy had a whole family all together, Denise feels out of the loop - her family all scattered round the place and lost touch with a few. Denise prob didn't like how Lucy took all of the things she had for granted and was envy of the togetherness of family.

Lucy's stuck up and pessimistic attitude might have made Denise angry seeing how Lucy was always making Ian upset. she prob disliked how Ian kept letting her down over problems with Lucy and how all of this made her crack under the pressure of him taking things or her seriously.

All of this could of ended up with her lashing out at Lucy, holding her responsible for Ian kept pushing her out of everything I can see why she feels depressed she has had a lot to deal with as she slowly grows to become that detached person we have been watching lately

I've ruled Max out and I've definitely ruled Lauren out. She's definitely showing too many shades of unbrushed hair, baggy green cardigan and just released from prison Janine for it to be her.

please, please, please dont let it be Denise.

I like her. I know there is some stuff going on with Patrick that is less than complimentary, but the woman is trying her damnedest. That doesnt excuse it, but shows she is a woman under a lot of pressure with no help.
Just livin' in perfect New Zealand!

I doubt it's Denise. Kim's only just got back and the Foxes have a big story planned surrounding the baby.

I think the trailer holds the final clue now. Maybe all scenes are carried out by different characters in the real show- except Jane's, whose car cleaning actually happened. I still think Emma's 'I'm glad I caught you' line was intended to be ironic- and they were both wearing identical coats.

I think it's almost too obvious to be Abi now. I think she or Max believes they killed Lucy, but then Jane will be unmasked at the wedding. Peter's back on my radar too.

I think the main thing to keep in mind is that they're going for something legendary. It's to mark the 30th anniversary. They want it to be something that will always stay in people's minds.

I'm pretty much set on this now, I can't make anything else make sense in my mind.

Couldn't help but notice when flicking back through an episode is that Emma says to Jane "im glad i caught you" when asking if she fancied meeting later in the Vic and said the first round is on Max. I just thought it was weird that those where her exact words when she first rang the killer! Hmm

She then said along the lines of you killed Lucy.. So maybe Jane meets up with her and says along the lines of it wasn't me it was .... etc and she said it dosent matter its still murder! People were saying it couldnt be Jane or an older person as she seemed to talk to them asif they where younger but when i watched that clip in the park it looked like she was looking high up and not at the height of someone young and small like Abi say.God this is so addictive trying to solve clues but i guess none of us know F**k all lol

IIRC DTC said the killer would be told in January, after the 2 week Christmas break. They're filming the aftermath of live week now according to Rakhee Thakrar so it makes sense that the killer knows by now.

I've got my eye on you

Ooh I bet they're bursting to tell everyone. I just hope they can keep this a secret until the big reveal.
You can't just come bounding in here like John Wayne on a Spacehopper!

I know they're actors, but it must be hard to keep that secret if everyone is walking round suspecting the 14 suspects!

Still thinking it could be Whitney. I've ruled out Lauren, Max, Les & Pam and Lee.

Jac Jossa said that although she wouldn't be there Lauren would still play a part in the 30th. She was obviously referring to the flashback episode. I wonder if her scenes were filmed in advance. I didn't think the episode itself had been filmed yet and I was sure Jac went on her leave just before Christmas.

For those on Twitter, keep an eye on the suspects' Twitter pages. I suspect someone's in particular will be falling a little quiet.

Don't forget to report back here. :)
