For those on Twitter, keep an eye on the suspects' Twitter pages. I suspect someone's in particular will be falling a little quiet.

Don't forget to report back here. :)
I had the exact same thought. Great minds.

Abi isn't going to be happy with Max soon. If she's covering up anything for him, maybe she'll change her mind now?

So now we have to ask ourselves about the necklace Max keeps stroking. I guess it's Emma's, but what relevance does it have?

It's his precious. I think it's just the only thing of hers he has left, nothing sinister.

I'm still curious about Stacey's key. When's that getting revisited?

It's interesting that Max talked about Emma going through all her notes with him and yet she didn't share with him that she had worked out who the killer was. So was it a Branning, Max or Abi (I've ruled out Lauren). Any reason why she wouldn't have shared with him about other suspects?
Max said "I'm a liar, and a cheater but I ain't a murderer". Emma said to the person she was speaking to "It's still murder"
Does Max believe his actions weren't murder?

Niteflyer great theories well thought out in my opinion... I am not sure if Denise something not adding up but still very worrying behaviour!! Seeing Cora and Cindy so close to the top of the betting lists is very telling as well as how quickly we accept new suspects despite the 14 chosen ones! I still think Billy is a valid bet... He has been 60/1, 20/1 and now back to 100/1 fickle fickle fickle! Lauren covering up and diverting blame? I think Lee OR Cindy fit that category quite well too

I have a Lee or Whitney theory

Lee after he saw Lucy bickering with Billy he prob stood back and waited for them to finish and then met Lucy and Whitney was in pursuit looking for Lee (that walk she said she had away from walford common)

Whitney prob caught up with Lucy and Lee and argued with them, they was arguing with eachother about what happened with who and when (as if they are fighting over him) Whitney prob was angry and lunged at Lee or Lucy and which he defended himself or trying to break the girls up and accidentally hit or pushed Lucy or Whitney lunged at Lee and Lucy stepped in to stop ???

Maybe realizing they knocked her unconscious wondered if Lucy was really ok ?? Lee who is wracked with guilt and Whitney who prob was shocked. Lee tries to check Lucy over who which confirms that she has no pulse they both are panic stricken and leave her body and make it look like shes been mugged by hiding her phone and purse? which later is found by Ben and Jay

Niteflyer I think we could have been separated at birth haha!! I love it! V similar strains of thought... I bet you watch Sherlock too??? :)

As a mathematician my theories are based on the optimal level of shock, reality and impact in time frames and impact in networks or relationships

When revealed I imagine a real national recoil in unison at whoever it is which is why picking one person is so toughfor me ... I am obsessed!!

This is why all the Ian Abi Jake Ben stories seem implausible to me might just be my warped thinking!!

In roughly the right order of my personal favourites most likely first I think:
Billy sketchy behaviour lies gutted Lucy did lettings biz idea without him
Lee dark unknown and almost concealed violent nature
Cindy selfish soulless butter wouldn't melt heartless cow
Whitney dont look at my fella be-atch! or i'll have ya!
Max accidental :((((
Cora thinks she runs the show had a word got out of hand
Peter provided the drugs but were not clean so accidental
Lola jealous conniving twisted sense of values
Danny the druggy and sociopath

Less obvious but could happen:
Phil grudge holder Mitchell odd bod too much compassion for ian uncharacteristic so bit worrying
Masood how did he know where bobby was? Hmmmm
Alfie desperate tried to mug her or sell her drugs or something went wrong so he tried to throw people off scent by rearranging evidence
Tina/Babe/Carol drugs!!! I know it's silly but popped into my head!

I'd be annoyed if it is abi or ian or Jane or Denise: boring!!! Zzzz

Just had a look back and read some if your reasoning... Does sound plausible actually and the back story you wrote would be the clincher there so if it is her I hope DTC is using your back story for her haha!

So the live episode also incorporates the flash backs.
D-TW's "With the added live element for some scenes, this is going to be an extremely special episode and the pearl within our week of celebratory episodes for EastEnders' 30th birthday"
Not sure that's as good, but it should be an hour long one.
People are hinting that Gary Lucy will return for a flash back and he was said to post "more 2 come.." on twitter after exiting Eastenders. Eastenders haven't promised that he'll return for the flask back but nor have they denied it. I realise he has an alibi but the information that he might be in the episode suggests that Lucy's murder had something to do with money shared or LB lettings. So billy or Lola acting on billy's behalf possibly.

Also to do with money and business, given the madame Lucy was - what if she found out about the ten grand Cindy nicked ages ago. Why have they kept that quiet for so long? Maybe she took it off her with a business boost in mind saying that she'd tell Ian about it if Cindy didn't let her keep it. Lucy always loathed Cindy, we've learned from Whitney about her hidden character. She wasn't above blackmailing or bullying. Having said that Cindy hasn't acted remotely guiltily.
So I'm starting to sway to the majority opinion of Jane and Ian's involvement except I don't understand how that links to each and every other character who has proven their alibi is false and had some involvement. So many questions

I reckon her and Denise fight among themselves at the Beale residence and she may falls down the stairs that sticks in my mind
