If you want to know who killed Lucy Beale, or figure out who did it, just remember DTC is an Agatha Christie fan. The way he's outlined this story, it has all the classic Christie ingredients:- Starts with a murder victim. Police investigation starts by questioning everyone who had any sort of acquaintance/relationship with Lucy. In doing so, they find that each person question either has a secret or is lying about something. Somewhere, three-quarters of the way into the storyline, there will be an unexpected twist. What to expect? There will definitely be another murder, and there may be revealed even a murder before Lucy was murdered - cf: the Christie book The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, often said to be the best murder mystery ever written and the paradigm of all 20th-21st Century murder mysteries. Tony Jordan, who's now the EP of Death in Paradise uses the above aspects in every episode, including ... We can expect to see the police gather all the suspects in one place to go through their findings briefly and explain how they've come to the conclusion that ****** is the murderer. In Christie, the murderer is always the person least likely to be suspected and who, on first sight, doesn't appear to have a connection to the crime. Christie also drops clues that are seemingly insignificant throughout her book, and we've got a few dropped by DTC already - cf: Stacey's key. (And, no, Stacey is not the killer, but she has something the killer may want). This is going to be fun. |

I think different endings were a given! If they had just one filmed then it would be a lot easier to leak before it aired. I am wondering what Stacey's key unlocks. I have a feeling it leads to a stash of money that Stacey stored away in case she ever needed a quick get-away with Lily to make another new life. We haven't seen it since she gave it to Lauren - so as far as we know she still has it, unless someone found it in the Branning house and Lauren doesn't know it's missing yet - we'll find out on Stacey's return at least. I'm also betting Jake is the next one to turn up dead. He'll ever be involved in this drugs thing in some way or stumble upon something he shouldn't. I do find it funny that Lucy is on coke, and 2 new characters (well one not so new but now permanent) have cropped up, one 'Charlie' and another with the surname 'Coker', I'm probably reading too much into the 'Coker' bit, but he was involved with Charlie - and I'm sure he's got something to do with this. |

There has apparentally been a very detailed leak on Twitter that may have given away a lot to do with this story. |

Oh no, I hope that's not true. Dom in his team have put so much work into this and for crucial details to leak at the very beginning would be horrible. If the news is true I can't see us escapaing the spoilers, they'll be everywhere by the time we catch up on-screen. |

I've not looked at the link but apparently it reveals the story outline and also the killer. That's really upsetting, I bet Dom is furious right now and rightly so. Hopefully everyone involved finds themself swiftly dismissed and prevented from working for the BBC ever again. How disappointing that someone has taken upon themselves to spoil it for everyone. I'm so angry about this. |

I wouldn't worry, it's the biggest load of cobblers I've ever heard. |

I've just read over the 'leak' again and, quite honestly, a primary school student could write a more cohesive storyline. |

Its a disgrace that months of hard work have supposedly been leaked so soon after the stellar episodes this week. Heads will roll if whats being revealed is true because if it is, I'd hate to be facing both DTC and the BBC's wrath. |

Nahh, no way will it be real. Just someone stretching their creative juices and claiming it's real. There is no way that something so highly-detailed and secretive can just leak TEN MONTHS in advance. |

Yeah it's a load of cobblers. Only 4 people know who killed Lucy. Neither would be stupid enough to leak it. Plus "100% verified seriously" oh okay I believe you then. |

Rather stupidly I glimpsed at the link description which gave quite a bit away and I very tentatively read the opening lines. I for one, do not want this storyline spoiled so I am stopping right there. No, there are FORTY adult members of this cast, all of them apparently having a secret. No way could all that be spilled out in one go ten months before the conclusion. Edited by MrJames, 27 Apr 2014, 01:22.

DTC is the biggest social media fan around so he knows the importance of keeping things a secret. He'd trust the very few people he's told to keep Lucy's killer a secret. I won't even read the supposed leak because it's pointless. |

It seems I was a bit hasty in accepting the link as gospel. All the same, I'm wary to read it just in case some or all of it is indeed true. |

Most likely not real but I do like it. If it is real, they have a lot of time to change it anyway. |

Apparently when soapsquawk saw this spoiler they asked who tweeted it to follow them so they can have a chat privately in DMs,...make of that what you will!

SoapSquawk needing confirmation says everything. Though if it is true then someone is getting sacked. |
