The 14 in order for me (most likely-least likely):
1) Whitney
2) Jane
3) Ian
4) Abi
5) Cindy
6) Lee
7) Denise
8) Max
9) Ben
10) Peter
11) Lauren
12) Jay
13&14) Pam & Les

I'd have Peter much, much higher if Ben Hardy wasn't leaving. The situation with Whitney seems a bit bizarre, how we hear nothing about her for ages, she comes back to be revealed as a suspect, and I don't think she's been seen since NYD? If it wasn't her, I think they could've easily not brought her back for the suspects reveal, and done the rest of the story without her.

Loving Whitney's suspect picture. Shona put her all in to that.

Loving Whitney's suspect picture. Shona put her all in to that.
She's had a lot of free time to perfect it.
"I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver

Not only are some of those suspect profiles poorly written, but they're misleading too. I wonder if that's deliberate. Loving the photos though.

Some of those motive/alibi pieces read like they've been written by a child or someone who's never watched the show in their life. And Lauren didn't find out about Lucy/Max until Lucy's funeral so why is that given as a motive for killing her?
I wouldn't buy it, but maybe they'd do a twist where it turns out that Lauren knew before then. If Abi sent the photo from Lauren's laptop, it's plausible that Lauren could have found it in the recycle bin or the sent messages if the email address used was left logged in.

For me though, there was enough in the funeral episode that Lauren can't have known. Why would she have allowed Max (and encouraged him to do so) carry the coffin if she knew?

Watching the show now with the firm belief that Max did it helps me to enjoy it more. And I look forward to all the stories that will branch out as a result. I think Stacey will get at least one of the businesses to run.

Les may have just been ruled out going by this snippet from the Monday after live week.

Les:Whiskey. Double
Shirley:Man after my own heart. Make it a Vodka and I'll Join you.

Whitney's alibi is that she went for a walk "nowhere near Walford Common". She then panics and says that she couldn't have possibly killed Lucy because they "were very close" and "wouldn't do anything to hurt each other". So Lucy slept with the person Whitney liked and was bullying Whitney. I think it was Whitney and that she finally snapped. Maybe finding out about Lucy and Lee triggered it.

Yep, I think his problem is that he's just heen exposed for having had a random body cremated in the place of Nick Cotton. If he'd just been revealed as a murderer, that'd be the least of his worries.

I'd say Whitney, apart from the fact she's disappeared into an abyss with Lola and Liam.

I can probably say who in my own opinion i don't think it is-Les because of the snippet from immediately after live week, Pam because i think it's unlikely and Lauren because of Jaqueline Jossa's upcoming maternity leave-i'm beginning to think that her exit is linked to Tanya returning.

Lauren will likely go with Tanya, then when Ben Hardy leaves, we'll hear they've gone travelling (via performing open wallet surgery on Max and Ian) and that will cover Jacqueline Jossa's maternity.

She will either return alone having broken up with Peter or she will return with Peter and he will have spouted a new head.

Walford is about to change, lives are about to be destroyed, alliances will begin and the residents will never be the same again. Welcome to "Dungeon". New fan fic, coming soon...

Thanks Nick M for the brilliant sig!

I think you've got it spot on but I don't think they'll recast Peter for a few years, they'll leave it open for Ben just in case he wants to come back. I think Lauren will return pregnant with Peter's baby but Peter won't know about it.

I wonder if the killer (actor) knows it's them yet - presumably they're starting to film stuff for after the reveal around now. Also, I wonder if they're going to reveal it to the killer only. We don't know how the reveal comes out but if they confess to another character than, for us not to get a repeat of the 25th, more than one actor is going to have to be told the killer's identity.

With Whitney as the 'outside' choice (but she is a Branning daughter's adopted granddaughter) I'm still sticking with a Beale or a Branning.
