Who Killed Lucy?; All the theories

We still haven't established what time Lucy died. When Lauren approached the house, Ian's car was there but Jane's was gone.

Maybe Cindy's voicemail was a clue. 'Lucy, are you coming back tonight? I know I messed up but please don't be mad.' Maybe she came back. Maybe she was mad. We don't know what time that was sent.

A clue was revealed during the NTAs (National Television Awards) - the last thing that Lucy heard was the jewelry box music.

Anyone good are deciphering writing? On page 113 of this thread there are two photos of Emma's work notes discussing each of Lucy's voicemails and info about when they were issued. Also above that is a step by step of her activities. Lee's voicemail was at eleven thirty after the murder went down, but then again it's possible he had staged the call.

Just looked at the pictures of Emma's notes. "Cindy alibi" is underlined. And, "Where did Cindy think Lucy was going to stay?"

Hmm, interesting...I think Emma may have put the box under the tree.

Gonna print the pictures off tomorrow and see if I can get anything more from them.

It asks whether Lucy had always intended to get the number 30 bus.

I think Emma put the box there to see reactions... Perhaps she knew today's clue and thought it would provoke a certain reaction if the killer was there when Cindy discovered it? BUT if some one was waiting in Lucy's room or had the box because they went to steal the coke or retrieve it they could have stolen it and used it elsewhere to kill her eg in a car or another house or park...

My list:

1. Jane
2. Cindy
3. Abi
4. Peter
5. Ian
6. Max
7. Ben
8. Denise
9. Lauren
10. Whitney
11.Jay
12. Lee
13. Les
14. Pam

My final top three for who killed Archie were 1. Stacey, 2. Peggy and 3. Roxy, but I don't think I'll be as correct this time.

This could be the meaning of Emma's cryptic remark.

Didn't the police make a search of Lucy's room immediately after her death, in which case, they would have taken an inventory of anything they took to test for potentianl DNA evidence etc, which would eventually have been returned to the family. Maybe Emma realised that the jewelry case wasn't on the list of goods from Lucy's room, which meant that the killer had to have removed it, if this were, indeed, the weapon.

If she were killed in the house, in her room, that narrows the suspects sufficiently to Jane, Ian, Cindy or Peter. I would rule out Denise, but her family moves up the scale considerably.

Either Jane is the killer or Jane is covering for someone - Ian or Cindy, but Ian is my most likely choice.

Looking at Emma's notes lee's voicemail was sent at 23:53, the same time when there was a car pulling on Walford common, Cindys was left after that but there was no time or date written next to it!

I don't think lucys jewellery box was taken back to her bedroom so that would mean it may have been still in the kitchen where Ian prised it open.

Could someone have killed her there and Denise not heard?! Does anyone have any clues as to when Cindy went to the restaurant that night looking for Ian?!

I missed them also. What was the context like how did they reveal that? And was there any others. Got me paranoid as anything. Hopefully it will be uploaded somewhere as ITV player is a nightmare to navigate. Was it just before EE won the award?
Your approval is neither desired nor required.

Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism".

Hi I think lees answer message says 23:53 the same time the car is spotted on the cctv at Walford Common, he was clearly at the party as noise was in background..not sure if that is to rule him out! I have pretty much read everything I can on these pages so if anything can't be spotted then just let me know, I may have deciphered it already!

It was at about 8.30, so about an hour in. They opened a box with a written clue that said 'this is the last thing Lucy heard', and then played the jewellery box noise.

I need to re-watch some episodes to see when we last saw the box before she died. I haven't ruled out someone who didn't live in the house as Lucy could have let them in. I know this has been mentioned before but whoever moved her body would need a car. Cindy and Abi would have needed someone else's help as they wouldn't have been able to drive. If Ian was out in his car at the time, would Peter have used Jane's? I don't know if he's passed his test but at least he's old enough.

Just seen this: so maybe not the music box? One comment said maybe baby mobile so could Cindy/Lola clue? Or anyone with baby! "National Television Awards presenter Dermot O’Leary revealed the clue by pressing play on an iPhone. The phone played a mysterious tune. Some say it was an ice cream van. Others speculate that the tune came from a music box that appeared under the Beales’ tree on Christmas day.
The clue has put Eastenders fans into overdrive, as everyone ponders what the HECK the clue meant."
Hmmm confused!! If anyone finds clip pls post it?! :)) thx

The host said how they have been given exclusive access to a clue. There was a man with a locked box, they opened it and written inside was "This is the last thing Lucy heard" and the jewellery box music played. It was a while before EE won the award.

Adam Woodyatt and the rest of the cast looked bewildered and began whispering to themselves, as if trying to piece together the puzzle themselves.
