I'm hoping they've learnt from the mistake of the 25th with having a popular character being the murderer. On that basis, I'm ruling out Max, Denise and Ian.

I still don't have a clue but am still thinking there's a few people involved in this or someone thinks they did it but didn't... Confused, even with all the evidence seen and found.

Cannot wait for Anniversary week though, bring it on!

Perhaps Jane thinks she's covering for Ian, but in fact it's Cindy.

As long as it's not Denise!

OK so I'm weighing it all up

Jane is not the killer BUT she helped move the body and is protecting them.

I think it's Ian, Peter or Cindy - more likely Peter or Cindy.

The killer probably didn't know what they did contributed to Lucy's death

Still extremely quiet on the Whitney front. She is appearing in scenes, but doesn't speak. I'd completely forgotten that she and Lee are a couple.

I don't think its going to be one of the big 3 so I'm ruling out Ian, Jane and Max.

That just leaves the young guns so I'm going with Whitney. Pam and Les are included for some bizarre reason. I'm wondering if they play a part in the flashback episode which explains why they are listed among the suspects?

I think the song Delliah heard being sung in the karaoke tonight is a big clue to the plot. Listen here to the full song. The Lyrics I think will describe several events which I think will have happened to Lucy. I even think the killer might start apologising to Lucy and being all crazy before being arrested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQIK3Te9Coo
I wish they'd done the Sensational Alex Harvey version...
Happy Christmas Ange.

I am so so so convinced it's Whitney. She's re-appeared just in time.

Bar Les and Pam there's no one I'd care about less if revealed to be the killer. What would the impact be? Her friendship with Lauren and Peter has vanished, she's little more than an extra these days and she only has three relatives left in Walford, only one of which is blood, and she's five. Shona would definitely pull off a live reveal, but I just can't see Whitney being the killer.

If Whitney killed Lucy, that'd mean that Lily's mother, father, Aunt Whitney and Uncle Sean are all murderers.

Really hope it wasn't Whitney. What an anti-climax that would be.

It definitely wasn't Ian.

Jane. 100% Jane.
Massive thanks to NickM for this wonderful signature! :)

I will be entering as well. Imagine if some of us on here win. Who do you think it is? I bet some of us who enter will be right and some of us won't be.

I'm not too sure. I think it's someone in the Beale household, but not Ian.

Getting to walk on that Square is kind of a bucket list thing so I'll give it a go; I've narrowed down my choices to 4!

I'm trying to think of unanswered questions that need answering... Things like why has Whitney been away so long? Why did Emma give Lee a funny look after she met the suspect? What was Denise doing for the few hours after she got back? What "wasn't there"? What are Max and Abi hiding about that night? Why did Jame jump to defend Lauren? Why is Tanya coming back? Why did Billy hide the photos? Whose photos were they? What did Ben omit from his "confession" to Phil? Are Lola and Jay an item? Why did Les get mad when asked about Lucy? Why did Peter not have sympathy pains for his twin? How did Lucy's blood and earring get into Aleks' flat? Was Jake really leg less as he looked okay ish in the CCTV? What was the taxi driver going to disclose before Peter kicked off? Was Billy's argument really about fish? Why did Jane keep the phone/wallet? Help!!!!!!!!!

Besides, DTC created her.

I can't see it being Whitney. For impact, it's got to be a pretty important character, but one who's expendable. That's why I'm hoping it's Jane, and I hope it's an all-out reveal to viewers and characters. No more pushing this thing out until Christmas as with Stacey. Making her Archie's killer was one of the biggest mistakes this show has ever made.
