Okay, so Jane's car isn't always parked next to Ian's.![]() I've said it before, but if Jane's the killer I don't know how Emma realised based on the small part of the Square visible in Fatboy's video. Jane may have moved her car, but there's nothing to prove 'it wasn't there'. Also, when Denise brings Lucy's possessions round Jane is the first one that insists on calling the police. The writers have really messed with our heads here. |

I chose Jane in the competition. Every theory seems to suggest that while one person killed Lucy, one or two others helped to cover it all up. Personally, I think Jane done it all herself. |

We find out THIS MONTH…! I am going to look back through this thread and probably laugh at how wrong I was. I was thinking Whitney for a while, but now I'm not sure. She's gone down on my list. Not big enough impact or shock. Right now I'm thinking Jane (this may very likely change over the next 18 days). Even saying 18 days sounds odd. Cindy is a strong possibility. And the more I think about it Ian and Peter are becoming more likely (I really hope it's not Ian). Or Peter to be honest. Abi seems to be one of the bookies favourites. I would be so disappointed (and probably laugh) if she turned out to be the killer. I know we've seen a more tough side to her in the last year but this is the girl who would struggle to bury her gerbils! She's not a murderer! I really hope the killer is not a Branning, I'm a bit sick of them at the moment. So on the 1st of anniversary month I'm saying Jane and/or Cindy. With the outside chance of it being a Beale. I do wonder though, is there ANY possibility it might be not one of the 14 final suspects? They do love to shock the viewers and it would get people talking! |

Nah, they said they changed the killer before any of the scripts had even been written. |

I'm really going to miss reading all these theories when we find out. It's been a real highlight of the past 8 months. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

We need something else to fill the void. I wonder just how much the Dot and Nick stuff will spark a new mystery. |

Imagine if somebody gets it 100% right - not just the killer, the whole theory. I'd gloat for months.

We'll have to get the champagne on ice and have a wrap party when we find out the murderous culprit.

The board may explode when the culprit is revealed. There are a lot of convincing theories. |

I know that if anyone had killed one of my family members and then lied about it to my face for months I'd think they were a monster too. |

I voted for Jane. But now I'm not so sure. Surely the most obvious reason for her typing but not sending peter the text is because she bumped into him? Jane covering for peter makes perfect sense given that in her way or thinking, stopping Ian from finding out peter killed Lucy is for his own good because otherwise he loses both of his children. For what it's worth I don't think peter would know that he killed her, but Jane would. Perhaps peter did something, Lucy fell but was alive (in front of Jane) peter stomped off, Jane has a talk with Lucy where Lucy reveals whatever secret and then dies. Jane moves the body to eliminate suspicion on the beale family as she doesn't want peter to know he's responsible. At the wedding it's revealed Jane is the killer and she will cover for peter so peter never has to know what he did. However, Peter could already assume he was responsible hence his reaction when he was told. His obsession with solving the murder could be explained as him desperate to prove Lucy left him alive and well and someone else was responsible (perhaps he is also unaware of who moved her body so believes it cannot be him) The only problem is why would peter leave if Ian found out (or believed he'd found out) Jane was the killer? |

I've entered the competition with Cindy, although I'm still thinking Jane helped her cover it up. I'd spent the majority of the story thinking it was Peter but I've gradually gone off that theory since Ben Hardy's exit was announced. It's mad to think that three weeks from now it'll all be out in the open - pretty much a year since the story was first announced. I know some say it's been dragged out but for me it's really flown in - it feels like only yesterday that I was watching Ian being told that Lucy was dead. |

The problem with Lucy dying in the house is, that with all the activity going on a Roxy's, it would have been very difficult to move a body.... |

I've really enjoyed the pacing of the storyline. I think the pacing is what has made this storyline so realistic, cases can go unsolved for years. Had it not been for Who Killed Lucy, what would the 30th been about? They needed a big plot to get people talking and that's exactly what it's done. I've entered the competition with Jane, because both her best friend, brother and husband are going to be around on anniversary week. |
