Does anyone know what's on the post-it? I'm sure we saw it on screen before but I can't find a picture of it.

Remind me…who left the music box under the Christmas tree?

"This was the last thing Lucy heard", could this suggest Lucy was hit over the head by the killer with the music box?

If anyone's entering the competition and guessing Whitney, then I humbly ask that you take me with you. Us Irish shouldn't be left out. ;)

I also disagree that Whitney wouldn't have impact if she were the killer.

Whitney's a known character to the casual viewer thanks to the high profile Tony and prostitution storylines. She's got a dark history and is quite damaged so her doing something like this is believable and could actually make sense given her and Lucy's fractured relationship.

Whitney has a clear motive.

Who would be affected by Whitney being revealed as the killer? Well, all of the Beale's for starters. Lucy's killer is the troubled girl living over the road, Peter's ex-girlfriend no less. It means meaty material for Lindsay Coulson, Carol is effectively Whitney's guardian now so she would be the most affected. More spotlight for Liam too... not saying that's necessarily a good thing though.

It also brings the Carters into the story through Lee, something which was probably inevitable.

It is a shame that Bianca isn't around for the fallout and I imagine DTC wasn't thrilled when she quit but it was probably too late in the day to change the killer at that stage.

And I keep mentioning it because it sticks out to me. We've seen almost nothing of Whitney this past year which is very fishy. Could be because of personal reasons, maybe backstage drama... but if that was the case, why bother bringing her back out of nowhere at New Years just to include her in the final shortlist of suspects?

If Shona's ill, they could've just left her out of the final lineup and replaced Whitney with Lola or someone. But she couldn't be left out because she's the actual killer. Sticks out like a sore thumb to me.

Ben hardy and Laurie Brett just confirmed that they both think that Abi did it...
http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2015-02-02/who-does-the-eastenders-cast-think-killed-lucy-beale

Though Ben Hardy also told the press he was 100 % sure Ian killed Lucy not too long ago... How much can we trust him?
btw, I Imagine many people's suspicions were tweaked by Jane's news about her parents not attending the wedding. Just, seems a bit unlikely that they'd not go simply out of spite for Ian. It is more the case that Jane doesn't want them to be present. Or Dom Tread-well just can't be bothered to find some actors for a wedding that wont happen?

It'll be interesting to see the whole article, one of them must know they're the killer but won't be able to admit it. Unless the interview was done ages ago in which case them having six weeks more knowledge won't be relevant. I'd love to the see the actor's reaction when they were told.

I've got so much to prove and so little time"

I remember that now, and thinking, what does she mean by so little time?
Was she in some sort of trouble? Was someone blackmailing her?
Was she trying to prove something and didnt have much time in which to do it?

or was she just trying to meet a deadline of some sort?

had she stumbled onto something much bigger, and was looking for the proof before it kicked off?
Just livin' in perfect New Zealand!

It's all falling into place nicely now. At this rate, Stacey will be the one to solve the mystery!

Yeah, I'm starting to think that both Jane and Abi have become too obvious. It's a bit like the Jack and Bradley situation of the Archie one.

Next week's spoilers heavily imply that the killer is someone close to Lauren. To me that would suggest Abi, Max, Peter or perhaps Whitney.

Depending on each suspect we can for the most part determine if they had an accomplice. Someone like Abi or Whitney would need help moving Lucy's body, but others like Max and Jane had the means to dump her on the Common virtualy unaided.

Max and/or Jane definitely had something to do with the murder. I am also convinced that they have hooked up in the past and it comes out on the wedding day.

I'm now strongly thinking it's Whitney but how would she have got the body to the common?

Bianca in Terry's cab? We saw her drive it in 2013.

we don't know where Jane was on the night of the murder and where else did Cindy go as well. Its too obvious I to be Peter because he is leaving and also to obvious to be Abi, Max, Jay and Ben imo. But Jane, Cindy and Whitney are not too obvious imo.

DTC said the killer comes from the heart so I think it is defiantly someone she was really close to like Jane, Cindy, Peter or Ian and maybe Whitney.

Ooh Stacey getting involved now, well Lauren had to confide in someone. Hmm so that pregnancy test could be Lauren's or even Emma's?

I know it's not a popular view, but glad Stacey will have some more scenes with Max now they're just friends. Lacey Turner and Jake Wood always have worked fantastic together. I've missed Stacey/Max scenes recently!
