Whoops! Someone's in trouble 😂 Hence Patsy Palmer getting her rushed exit with minimal build up. She threw a huge spanner in the works. |

The Main issue would be how little she has appeared and how disconnected she has been from the story and from Ian and the Beales. It wouldn't be upsetting for Ian at all in reality. It wouldn't change any of his relationships unless Jane suddenly cared for her and covered it up. |

But why give them the actual name, why not "Killer" in jail? |

I felt from the offset that the connection would be via Bianca which is why my original thought was Terry Spraggan but they announced his axing shortly after the murder episode. Whitney would explain why Bianca got a rushed exit. |

Just catching up on Death in Paradise and there's a lot of emphasis as to why someone would dump a body. The ultimate answer was that the victim was killed where she was found. Two people may have moved the body, or Lucy could have died on the way to the Common. I guessed Cindy as my final choice, but I'm veering towards Jane again. And Peter. And Whitney. In 74 hours we'll know the truth. Chilling. |

One of the clues in the Archie mystery was that Stacey was the only person angry enough to spit on Archie's grave and this time around Whitney was the only person angry enough to leave a 'Rot in Hell' note. Not sure if that Tweet is true though. |

I might be wrong because I don't know much about betting but it looks like there is one bet on Fatboy and another on Arthur Chubb .Also love how Rosie Spraggan is on the list but she is right at the bottom... |

I was recording all of the episodes for the next week earlier and that definitely was not the synopsis for the episode! Nothing to see here folks.

No wayyy is that in any way a clue as to who the killer is. It's possible that they are arrested for false imprisonment. No one outside of Elstree knows who the killer is, let alone Sky. If anything, this rules that person out for me. |

Surely we can rule out a branning anyway, it decimates the family if it's one of them, with jac on maternity leave and max having a big story presumably over the arches? |

Obviously no doubt someone is being a WUM, but EE will do all they can to keep everything hush hush, probably some fake stuff or red herrings planted to keep up the suspense. |

I am on Virgin Media so I couldn't check myself, so I thought I'd mention it for another member to confirm or deny it. I bloody hope it's not true! |

I think that it would be a bit of an anti-climax now, if the killer is not from the Beale household. I think the story has been moving in that direction for some time. My favourite is Peter. One of the problems is that there has never been any clear reason or motive for Lucy’s death. I think that if Peter was fuelled on drugs, he could have got into an argument with Lucy and killed her inadvertently. I suspect that the music box was the murder weapon and it probably happened in the Beale’s kitchen. I thought that the scene where Ian tells Peter that Lucy is “gone” was a little strange. Peter reacts immediately with a loud howl. I think you would normally expect a delayed reaction before it sunk in, with Peter asking questions about how and why. It wasn’t as if there was any reason to expect Lucy to die. It was almost as if he already knew that she was dead and that Ian telling him finally gave him the opportunity to vent his pent-up emotions. I think Jane probably helped clean up and moved the body in her car. Jane’s car has been conspicuous throughout. I also think that it was probably Jane who met Emma in the park. I think DTC will want to go for a high impact. Making Ian the killer would be too high risk; the viewers just wouldn’t get it. For Lucy be killed by her twin brother, with her father’s ex wife and now fiancé also being involved, would be very high impact. I would put Jane as killer a close second. Cindy just wouldn’t have the same impact. I think that Max and Abi might well have also known about it and helped with the cover up. |

Martin Keown's very awful commentary tonight on the Preston vs Manchester United FA Cup game killed Lucy Beale .
