I can't believe Les is now the bookies' favourite. The prospect of him being the killer is certainly interesting, but basing the logic on a fake leak is extreme. |

I don't think it's even interesting. I know people are living longer but they aren't immortal and Les bumping people off to make a few quid would be out of place if you rooted it in Sunset Beach never mind EastEnders. |

If Les was prepared to kill for a little bit of extra money, I'm sure he would do something else other than kill innocent people to make little, he'd be going after rich people with a lot of money he could take or something. Hard to explain what I mean, I'm just saying it's unlikely that she was killed for money |

Exciting stuff. I finally saw the murder episode last night. (Excited because we are not so far behind, not that she is dead). I think she was taken from the square by someone she knew. There didnt appear to be any signs for bruising or a struggle. No robbery or sexual assault. So I am still struggling for a motive. The way she was laid on the ground, rather than just dumped in a heap, still suggests to me it was someone who cares about her. |

There was a robbery. Her phone and her purse was taken although the killer (or someone else) may have attempted to pass it off as a mugging gone wrong either to cover their tracks or because there was something incriminating on Lucy's phone. I really don't think her body was laid out by someone who cares about her. She looked like she either fell with her hands out to protect her face or she was just dropped on the floor from being in someone's arms. |

Someone killed Lucy, and then her dealer (Jake) found her and took her bag later on is my theory. |

the way she fell definitely looks like she was conscious when she fell, the hands were in a face saving position which is human instinct when you fall. |

I think she recieved a head injury during a fight with her killer at the flats (hence why the didn't know they'd killed her to begin with, because they thought she was fine), then they stormed off, then she left the flats and began to head home, and then collapsed and died. I'm pretty sure her killer knows they killed her now. |

The only issue is that Emma said Lucy actually DIED elsewhere. So, it's possible she could have died in the flat and then be dumped by the killer/someone else. I think that may perhaps be the clue. Accidentally struck on the head by one person in the flat, Lucy is seemingly completely fine and the person leaves. Then she dies once they've gone. Then her body is moved by another person? |

Her bag was near her, but the contents were spilled. So I dont know if that means someone found her before the little girl did and just helped themselves, or she dropped it and it fell open. Its in a bit of a funny place if she dropped it. I think ithe phone will become significant. Ian kept phoning her when she didnt come home. For a 20yo not to come home is not really a biggie. I know she doesnt seem to stay out much. Just a thought, but what has happened with the guy she worked with, Danny? I cant remember. |

Perhaps the fact that Max's latest secret conquest got herself killed could be the trigger that makes Max wake up and see what a fool he is sometimes: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/news/a568142/eastenders-max-branning-deletes-cctv-footage-of-lucy-spoiler-pictures.html#~oD3HzGSsGoozEq Lucy dumped Danny after she found out he was pursuing Johnny. Rumours have it that Gary Lucy isn't 100% done with EastEnders, which makes sense as he would be a natural suspect for the police. I hope we start to see the police interrogating the whole of the square now. |

Why assume she was killed at the flats just because they are near the Common? Lucy could have been killed anyplace and her body moved to the Common. She could have been killed at someone else's house or place of business and moved there. The police would know, from questioning Lauren and the Beales, her involvement in the flats near the Common, and they would be one of the first places they'd go over with a fine toothed comb. That she was killed at the flats is too obvious. Edited by Mrs Peel, 2 May 2014, 10:05.

Danny Pennant is living/squatting in one of those flats near Walford Common. Lucy could've been accidentally killed by the person that killed her in one of the flats, and then (for some reason) moved by Danny or her dealer, Jake, to the Common. |

Eyes up, Guardian.

I don't think it's Whitney. They keep showing her looking shifty and uncomfortable and if they keep that up and then announce it was her it'll be the biggest cop out ever. I reckon they're trying to push us in that direction and then go down a totally different road. |

On that case file, it says the whereabouts of her mobile is unknown, but did they not use her phone to work out the fact she had been contacting her secret lover? |

They found that out using her phone records, not her actual phone.
