Brilliant my mates eating her words now because I suggested bobby ages ago as a complete mad theory and she was adamant it had to be one of the 14, wish I'd never bloody listened to her! Great call to all of you who stuck to it! ;) bloody brilliant

I can't believe they've actually done this.

Can we go back to not knowing please?

Ugh. This was the worst possible outcome. I think this must be how some people felt when they saw Kathy tonight.

You know what this means? No aftermath. The murder is pinned on Nick and the Beales go back to normal after dealing with Bobby. So so disappointing. It should have been an adult character where we can see an actual follow-on after 10 months of build-up.

I get the irony and I totally see what they're going for but it just doesn't work for me.

Thank God we got Kathy, that's all I'll say.

What a downer of an ending after all those excellent episodes twists and plots. Bobby being the killer is awful and not shocking or a monster at all feel really let down by that like

I don't think it needs to be pinned of Nick. No need for anyone to know and it can be unresolved for ever.

I don't want to say it, because I don't want it to be real but...

Awful.

Absolutely awful.

What a farce.

Pure. Sensationalist. Rubbish.

I feel like I've been punched in the stomach.

They give with one hand and take away with the other.

The actor who's playing Lucy's killer only ever had one scene with her, and she was already dead.

I don't have a problem with Bobby killing Lucy, but I don't like the fact that he wasn't one of the 14. I know the text was probably to Jane and from the characters' point of view the phone we heard might not even have been connected to Emma's text, but they said they were narrowing it down and that wasn't the case at all. I would have liked us to have a chance of working it out.

The other problem is that Bobby looked too calm when Jane walked in. Surely if he could kill Lucy and be that relaxed about it then he's not just going to grow up and live a normal life now?

I'm sure the acting will be great tomorrow so I'm still looking forward to that.

Why was Bobby trying to solve it then when he did it.
Or was he thinking how great it was.

He went to the spot where she was found, and camped over...when he knew she didn't die there?!

Going back to the original announcement and the quotes about "it's more What Killed Lucy?'" and "the killer doesn't necessarily know they did it", I think Jake, Abi and/or Denise may have been partly responsible too. I'm clutching at straws.
