How will Jane react when the police arrest the wrong person? I think the ramifications of that would be more interesting than blackmail; I suspect she will give lip service in terms of guilt while Ian will beat himself up all over again. And what about Bobby? Will we see the 'Kevin' side of him start to emerge? They better keep an eye on little Beth, after all he gave her Lucy's music box/murder weapon. I am looking forward to Kathy's return now, |

If the police arrest the wrong person, I think it will be because Jane caused it. She still has Lucy's purse and phone. She could easily frame someone with that. |

I think it'll be Max who is arrested. I don't think Jane can frame anyone without dropping herself in it. |

I'd forgotten about this wrongful arrest. DTC has got too much going on at once, maybe he's forgotten about it himself! |

It doesn't involve Danny Dyer & Friends so it isn't top priority. |

EASTENDERS bosses have today revealed that a further shock twist is to come in the Who Killed Lucy Beale storyline. Fans of the show saw the 30th anniversary episodes culminate with the revelation that 11 year old Bobby Beale (Eliot Carrington) was responsible for his sisters death and covered up by step mum Jane (Laurie Brett) however show bosses have today confirmed another killer will be unmasked. "We don't want our audience to feel cheated, we want them to feel tricked. Just like the Beale family have been. The family have been grieving that it was them who caused the death of Lucy when in actual fact, Lucy's death was caused elsewhere" reveals Dominic Treadwell-Collins. "We've decided it's only right that Lucy was delivered the fatal blow by a Carter and that's a journey we'll be following until Christmas. The question is, who's hiding the shamed secret?" Cast your vote below to guess which Carter was responsible. |

Do you reckon Ian will let Kathy in on the secret upon her return... I think Phil and Sharon are in with a shot of finding out the truth before the year is out too. Phil can empathise with Jane that's for sure. |

I still can't believe it's been a year since Lucy was killed! I remember the excitement about having such a long storyline starting and feeling like Feb 2015 was such a long way away! The last shot of Lucy dead on the common is forever etched in my mind. So haunting. With the phone messages over the top. So well done. So Chilling. And of course the next episode with Ian being told of Lucy's death. I was on the floor on my front room sobbing my heart out. Adam Woodyatt was amazing. The only other TV episode that made me cry like that was the live episode 10 months later, again thanks to a heartbreaking pitch perfect performance by Adam. It was great to have a storyline that all the viewers got hooked on right from the start. All the guessing, clues, red herrings...great storyline, leading the the amazing live reveal episode in Feb 2015!! Although I will never look at Jane or Bobby in the same way again. I used to love Jane as well! |

Mick and Linda know about Kathy being alive. Phil told them off screen and all will be revealed to Ian and Sharon in due course. |

Silly me. Sorry. Completely understandable. I'm surprised that Mick or Linda didn't nick a few duff duffs off Ian and Jane during live week, we might have thought it was a storyline about the Beale's but in fact it was actually about the Carter's.. Like everything else is these days!

Whenever this happens - if they haven't forgotten it in their obsession with CarterLand - I'm betting it's Abi who's arrested, and I wouldn't be in the least surprised if Jane opted to keep schtum and let her shoulder the blame. |
