Prehaps she is emigrating to work at a UNI overseas outside of Europe. |

I've got my fingers crossed it's linked to Denise's fight with Lucy, which I bet Chelsea knows about. I realise it's probably a baby though. |

Chelsea is pregnant by Brian Slater, who's really Gavin Sullivan. She returns to tell the secret that Denise is really Ava's secret daughter and that when Denise gave birth to Chelsea, she really had twins, one of whom became Lola's mother. |

Can no one just visit for the sake of catching up with family and stuff and not come back with a secret and leave before we fully understand it |

I still wish we'd seen the actual moment Bobby killed Lucy, and the immediate aftermath with Jane covering it up and dumping the body. I just think it would make things so much clearer. |

The police will find Lucy's blood in the car lot. And then there will, suspiciously, be no CCTV from Good Friday. Odds stacked against you Max. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

Did Lucy die instantly after Bobby's hit? |

I don't think so, but I'm not entirely sure. Jane was going to take Lucy to the hospital (which suggests she may have still been alive? Or at least this is what she told Ian), but she put Lucy's body in the boot and dumped her on the common... I second Shamelessness' statement above, that the flashback episode should've made things a wee bit clearer. |

Would many places (especially small businesses) keep their CCTV footage for over a year anyway? I'm not really sure how it works. I wonder if Max would implicate David here, since he helped dispose of the footage. If Michael French returned, that would just add a whole new layer of awesome to Carol's involvement in the Lucy story. |

Lucy may not have died instantly but I think she was dead by the time Jane arrived. Jane seemed to check her pulse and find nothing. |

Yes she was. Clever scene between Abi and Stacey tonight proving that Abi was more then capable of 'Battering' Lucy as she did the same thing to Stacey. She really has lost the plot. Skinny Blondes that slept with her dad Pregnant Brunettes that used to sleep with her dad...Abi will batter anyone but it helps if they have slept with her dad which- let's be honest- doesn't narrow it down much! |

Am I the only one thinking that now/soon would be a good time to bring back Steven Beale? Aside from the obvious that he's a link to Pat in the absence of Liam, it could turn things in the Beale household even more nasty. Now that he's lost his favourite and is covering for the unwanted child that killed her (Peter was right there, it doesn't get much worse than a secret vasectomy) perhaps Ian'd be more open to forgiveness. He could use Jane's instigating the cover up to force her to allow Steven back into the family. While Jane gets a lot of criticism at the moment, Ian can also be vile. I can't see Kathy the news well that Ian has taken in another of Cindy's illegitimate children. If Steven didn't make a full time return, it would be a nice bit of continuity if Cindy tracked him down for an episode or two, feeling pushed out and wanting to meet someone she's actually related to. It could set the cat amongst the pigeons if Steven knew about Bobby. I'd assume Ian would prefer that he didn't know; he's probably the most likely to blow the secret in the absence of Lauren - hotheaded, hates the puppet master, cast out by Ian and of no relation to the killer. |

Steven Beale is actually interesting. One almost forgets that he's Cindy's brother as well. I do wonder if Peter's told Steven what actually happened in Lucy's death. If anything, a Steven-Jane confrontation would force Jane to admit that her underlying issues with Lucy were behind the way she treated Lucy's body summarily after she removed her from the house - putting her in the boot of the car, dragging her across and dumping her on the Common. It's also going to be interesting to see Kathy's reaction to Cindy Williams being a part of Ian's dynamic. Cindy Snr was pregnant with the child when she and Nick Holland returned to Walford to try to regain custody of Steven and the twins. Kathy's slating of Cindy in the custody hearing lost Ian full custody until it was revealed that Cindy had tried to have Ian killed. Edited by Mrs Peel, 1 Aug 2015, 12:34.

His name was actually Nick Holland. I think it's high time he made an appearance but I suspect he might only show up for Cindy's exit storyline. |

Did Peter reference the vasectomy before he left then? I thought that storyline had been forgotten by the writers along with Garry Hobbs nearly raising Bobby. In fact I wonder what he would make of all the Lucy murder stuff. And its interesting that Steven is actually Cindy's biological brother. She'd finally have someone she actually is related to back on the Square. |

I think by law there is a certain length of time CCTV can be kept for. Although thats something the writers would take some dramatic licence for and its not a major law. Hell, mugging someone isn't a major law in Walford if Jay can be tried and sentenced off screen in the space of a few seconds. |

I think she was hit, went down, remained semi concious for a few seconds, the music box fell to the floor and was opened (therefore playing the tune) as she died which explains the "this is the last thing Lucy heard" clue from that awards thing last year. And I second the idea that we should have seen the murder. It was something I was expecting and it seems like such a silly thing to miss out for a storyline so major now that I come to think of it. |
