https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADNwkxrCtd4 Someone pointed this out on Digital Spy. There are two people standing in the gardens at the beggining of the trailer (to me, they look to be Jay and Lola but that's one interpretation) and another in a red coat off to the side near the Brannings (to me this seems to be Abi) Could be nothing, could be something. The trailers were part of the clue for Who Killed Archie? afterall |

I think they've just spread people/suspects out across the Square - if you look closely, there's someone standing just in front of Phil's car at the bottom too. |

That was one of the very first things I noticed when the trailer first came out. From what I can see there are two people in the gardens (Tina and Nancy?), one person outside Pat's house (Liam?), and two people outside the Doctor's surgery (Abi and Lauren?). That trailer must have been so much fun to film. I wish they'd done a behind the scenes for it. |

Oh and the CCTV footage from the bus will be going up on line tonight. Uber excited for that and the press conference! |

If they are using the trailer to hide clues, I'd say Abi standing right behind Ian wearing red should be noted! Still firmly believe she was involved. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

I know Jay was wearing that beanie on Good Friday but until tonight's episode airs I'm not yet convinced it's him. He's quite skinny so we should know just by looking at the CCTV footage. |

It was probably Jay on the bus, i reckon they had an affair at one point. It could also have been Ben. |

It was Jay. Exactly the same build and beanie hat worn on that day. |

Yeah that was definitely Jay wearing the beanie on the bus it seems. Anyone else notice at the beginning of tonight's episode when there was scenes with Denise speaking over it cutting from the Square back to the hospital and the words "who killed Lucy" were when Peter was leaving the flat. I really hope it's not Peter. |

Is this the same as the hat Jay was wearing?![]() ![]() Whoever it was she seemed to be waiting for them/looking at them as she got off. ![]() ![]() All the other passengers turn left as they get off, except Lucy and Beanie. |

I wonder when they filmed that footage? if they got Hetti back for it a few weeks ago it could suggest she is still on a EE contract which would validate those flashback episode theories more. |

Unquestionably Jay. How brilliantly clever of them to drop that seemingly irrelevant scene into her death episode with him wearing that hat. |

I analysed this footage a little bit. Jay got on the bus first and if he did why did he not acknowledge Lucy if he saw her walk on? Especially since that morning he was talking about her with some of the other boys. Lucy obviously did not notice he was there when she jumped on the bus but when she got off you can see she clearly thought she recognised someone, and that someone was Jay. Another thing, did anyone notice that little bruise she got underneath her right eye? Is it a bruise? Or some running mascara? Was she crying? If so, why? Very interesting little twist with Jay in the fold. |

After tonight's episode my imagination has gone wild again. So many little nuggets to over-analyse. Now we know Jay was the one on the bus, we need to know why. Although he got off the bus when Lucy did, he actually sat down before she did at the start of the journey. I think this is just a way of revealing that he's been in contact with Ben. Lucy definitely gave him a funny look when she got off though. I've got a strong feeling the killer was in Ian's living room earlier. Him, Peter, Sharon, Lola, Lauren, Denise or Phil. It's such a shame Jane, Cindy and Bobby have missed all of this because it's limited the impact her death has had on the Beales, and at times Ian and Peter have been frustrating in their dismissals of Denise and Lola. It was good to see them re-establish that Lucy died of a head injury. I'm itching for more details as to how she got it. They also raised the point of her meeting a dealer, something I think is yet to be explored. I can understand why some people are bored of this story already, but personally I'm still loving it. It's true that sometimes the story fades into the background, but before long it's back with a bang and tonight it did just that. I think these next six months are going to be a real roller-coaster for fans. |

I agree, it keeps hitting these brilliant peaks and completely reinvigorates the story. Before she died there was her relationship with Max, then the drugs. Then her death and the immediate aftermath. Then Jake's arrest. Then the funeral and the note. Then what I like to call 'Billy week' with the purse and the phone being buried. And now this, and it looks as though we'll have a few episodes with increased focus on Jay. It feels like a different kind of EastEnders and I'm loving. Bold, brash and unique. |

I also love that at this point it could literally be almost anyone and still make sense. Very, very clever storytelling. |
