I think they're more likely to have more ties to Nick Cotton than Lucy: The show didn't have to reintroduce Les for the fake funeral story and introduce his wife and allude to a dead son without a reason. |

In which case, they should become a lot more prominent over the next month and into November. About time! |

In the timetable of events on the night Lucy died, it would be interesting to see where Ben fits into it, whether he saw Lucy while she was alive and how he came into possession of her personal effects. Jay may not even have seen her and Ben may have simply bullied him into burying them because when a Mitchell who isn't Billy says "jump", Jay says "how high and may I clean your shoes and do a little dance for you?" There is something Jake is not remembering considering how drunk he was at the time and the cab driver was on the verge of saying something until Peter interrupted. It may be to do with Peter but I wonder if it's to do with Ben. Jake has never met him and wouldn't have recognised him regardless of how much he had to drink and the cab driver didn't seem to recognise Peter so I wonder if Ben had been with Lucy and Jake, Lucy threatened to reveal his presence back in Walford to Ian and Phil and Ben mugged her of her phone and purse to stop her doing so. The only thing against that theory is that Jake said Lucy paid for the cab but she might have taken money out of Jake's pocket. |

It was that crazy Sienna Blake from Hollyoaks Village, she snuck up to London to try and clear her head, killed random Lucy in a fit of rage after being upset with drama going on in her life with Dodger, Patrick, Maxine and Nico. Sienna then snuck to Hollyoaks. I'm having a funny soap crossover moment:p. |

Clutching at straws again over here, but when Dot was saying to Ian to forgive if your brother trespasses against you, Peter, Ben and Lucy sprang to mind. |

I think Peter is the one we are now supposed to suspect, but isn't there going to be a curveball thrown in at Christmas? If Abi killed Lucy, you'd think she'd want to go to uni to get out of Walford.... Edited by Blades' receptionist, 10 Oct 2014, 23:34.

I am wondering if the police are going to try and hook Lauren in and convince her that Peter killed Lucy, and make her try and get the truth out of him... I don't know. |

I'm becoming more convinced that Ben killed Lucy, and that he will be gone by mid-2015. How 'tragic' would it be for Ian's own brother to be unmasked as the killer of his daughter? And think of the different characters affected. The Beales, the Mitchell's and the Carter's (if Johnny and Ben start dating) - the shows three main families right now - particularly will be right at the heart of the drama. I do hope it isn't Ronnie. That would be a load of sensationalist bull. Nothing 'tragic' about it. |

It was Sean Tully or Michelle Connor because of hating the attention not being on them, they both snuck over from Weatherfield and in the end will get arrested for their heinous crime and depart soap land forever. |

Oi! I watch HO, granted some of the Actors on there can't act, they actually have had some good Actors over the years who have gone on to good things. |

Exactly. My daughter had it on the other day when I saw her and It looked like two people were stuck in a lift...they were truly terrible at acting! If that is the overall standard I can see why it's ratings are in decline! Edited by DirtyDen, 12 Oct 2014, 16:40.

Picking through tonight's episodes for clues again. My findings: Peter going easier on Ian when Max says he feels worse than Peter ever could. Maybe Peter has reason to feel far more guilty. Ian, Peter, Cindy and Lauren viewing Lucy's headstone- and Peter's reaction to it. Also Ian saying 'no more lies', a quick cut to Peter's face and a sweeping shot of the headstone. Peter, Abi, Max, Lauren and Ian toasting Lucy. One thing I'm certain of is that the killer was in tonight's episode. |

Something, SOMETHING is coming with Peter. Even if he didn't kill her, he was without question involved. Every single little sign is pointing to it. He has been wayyyy too quick to jump down everyone's throats for this whole storyline and we still know drastically little about where he was the night she died. And obviously we know have DS Bryant on the case! |

I'm not sure I necessarily subscribe to the theory that the murderer was in tonight's episode but Peter has to be the next line of enquiry. If anything, he and Ian should have been the police's first port of call before any of the stuff with Jake. We need to establish where he was, who he saw and what he was doing on the night Lucy was murdered. I'm not sure he killed her but he should be a strong suspect with the police. He had an argument with her and then disappeared until the next morning. |
