I would swop Jay for Masood on that list. The look of rage he gave Lucy in her final episode puts him on my list. |

I don't think it was one of the gifts given to Jane for Beth, I think Abi planted the gift as she was looking after Beth the night before. |

I'm convinced more than ever that it is Jane, the killer would have been under Ian's nose the whole time. Jane used to be close to Lucy and the proposal to Ian was suspicious. Jane's hiding something still. |

We still dont know where Lucy died though. She may not have died on the square. But Jane is certainly big and strong enough to move Lucy on her own. Why would Jane hide Lucys stuff in the house though? Wouldnt it be better to take it down to the local wreckers, biff it in a car and get it crushed? |

Jane is my number one suspect now. I think the theory that Emma put the present under the tree to examine the reactions of those present. |

Tonight, I remembered when Jane returned earlier in the year to find Ian and Masood vying for her affections, but also Max in one weird scene in the car lot... What if they did have a liaison and Lucy found out? Just a thought that hadn't occured before... But I can't remember when this was exactly or where the Max and Lucy relationship was, if at all, at the time... No idea how Jay or Ben would be involved either... Just a thought... |

That was before Jane came back for a lengthy time. She confronted Max in the car lot, and Max propositioned her. She handed him his arse, informing him that Tanya had already found a new Later that evening, Lucy came by following up on an idea to get Max to advance them 1000 quid to start that two-minute business they were in. She slept with Max for the money. The gist was that Max was horny - he'd been turned down by Stacey, Jane and then Lucy showed up. |

Jane is really befuddling me at the moment. I can't imagine they'd make her the killer but all the bells are ringing in her direction at the moment. Are they trying their best to make us think she's the killer as a red herring or is she actually responsible? Like I said... befuddled. |

Would fit in with that emotional angle they put out in the teasers. Jane killing her step daughter and daughter of the man she loves or is marrying out of guilt. |

Didn't someone say it couldn't be Jane as they only knew she was returning after Waterloo Road was axed which was after Lucy's death? I'm very suspicious of her at the moment though. |

Don't ye remember that Max said "Ben Mitchell was here to drop off presents"? It seems most likely that either the gift was from him or he was dropping it off on behalf of someone else. |

The shortlist is almost certainly Ian, Jane, Lauren, Peter, Max, Abi, Ben, Jay, Billy, Whitney and the eleventh option open for Cindy, Lola and Lee. |

I think Ian is ruled out too. Jane, Denise, Peter and Cindy Max and Abi Jay and Billy Whitney and Lee Masood Lola will be killed on NYD. Billy believes only he and Lola know the truth but unbeknown to Billy, Lola asked Jay and Ben to dispose of the purse and phone, they also helped to move the body. Following Lola's death, Billy will discover that Ben and Jay had the phone and then the penny will drop that Lola had help moving the body. Thus, we will then find out that Billy was responsible... Danielle's contract would be coming to an end wouldn't it? She first appeared in July if I remember correctly, and assuming she started on a six month contract before getting renewed yearly... Aw I don't want her to die. I do kind of hope you're wrong. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |
