Well I don't get how they could keep us on tenterhooks all though the episode about who dies - yet they have almost banally given an arrow with a label saying "it's someone close to max".
So tricked into believing Ronnie would go in that last moment, even though it's logical that Emma would have needed to. If Eastender's that good at swaying the audience, then why not put more effort into disguising the culprits identity. We've still got two months left. And why would they bother lining up all the suspects up in front of Emma if it were merely just max, Lauren or Abi ... I can't swallow that.
In Emma's text she was saying "I can't keep the secret" rather than "your secret". That implies that she still could have been talking to someone who was responsible for Lucy's death though tha doesn't mean that they have actually physically killed her.
Emma's line "But that doesn't change anything it's still murder". Whoever she realised was involved with Lucy's death- it's still possible that the person she was talking to was there at the moment she died but they are still covering for the real person involved. (hm Ben perhaps?) I reckon Emma was just on the right track...
R.I.P though.

Totally, totally bored by the Lucy Beale scenario....I'm 12 episodes behind and really could care less about the clues, the suspects, etc. Time to really move on...Can't wait for "who killed Lucy" to finally end next month

Abi and/or Whitney killed Lucy. Max knows and is covering, I'm pretty sure it was him who met Emma in the park.

So is Emma effectively dying in the same way as Lucy? She was head trauma too right?

I think perhaps she met abi? As max and abi did something, perhaps max believes abi killed Lucy and is helping to cover it, when in fact it was someone else entirely.

They could have been with her when she died, perhaps max broke up a fight between abi and Lucy, Lucy dropped down dead, they moved her. But the person responsible for a second head trauma that effectively killed her was someone who was with her before max and abi?

Maybe even, max or abi will go down for it, it will come out about the car lot, an abi/Lucy altercation would be believed to have killed her, but someone else knows they saw her first and was responsible for a second head trauma, id be willing to bet that person would be a beale.

So one of the following killed Lucy Beale…

Ian, Jane, Cindy, Pam, Les, Denise, Jay, Ben, Peter, Lauren, Abi, Lee, Whitney or Max…

And could it be a clue that Lucy hit her head and then walked somewhere else before dying? So the murderer didn't realise she died until afterwards, and someone else moved the body.

This was probably obvious but the exact date that the killer is revealed is the 19th of February.

This article sums everything up very eloquently: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/feature/a618928/eastenders-who-killed-lucy-beale-we-round-up-the-latest-clues.html

It looks as though Max is covering up a murder for the second time in five years.

Max could be covering up for Abi who he thinks did it but it will be Lee.

I think Max and possibly Jay are covering for Abi, but unbeknown to all of them, Whitney struck the final blow.

They didn't really whittle the suspect list down that much, did they? Apart from Billy and Lola, and at a STREEEEEETCH Aleks and Masood, everyone else who was ever realistically a potential suspect is part of the final 14. Did they really need to chuck Les and Pam in? Really? I'm sorry but it would be crap if it were them.

I am still RIDICULOUSLY excited about finding out who killed Lucy.

I really think it's Whitney now. It's a bit odd that she randomly returned today after an unexplained absence of two months. They needed her to include her in the final suspects. Could have easily left her out if it wasn't her but as she's the killer, she had to be there.

Abi's far too obvious so it can't be her.

I don't see why they felt the need to include the Cokers.

Les makes no secret about how much he enjoys death – after all it is good for business.

The dodgy undertaker is definitely as shifty as a 10-speed-clutch and his sinister eyes and leather gloves make him an ideal soap murderer candidate.

Whitney is a bit of a spare part to be honest. However losing peter and Lauren, dexter plus another young adult in Whitney just after johnny has gone?

Because it could be one of them too. The longer they're included, the more it worries me. Such an anti climax if it's them.
