If you look back mid-November when the Beales receive a phone call from Masood, who has found Bobby. Do you remember Jane's relief once Bobby returns is short-lived when she finds a folder full of press cuttings about Lucy's murder? Bobby admits that he has been trying to help with the investigation and now wants to move back to the Square. A subtle clue... |

I personally hope it's Kane as she's the one who has most to lose and is also the most judgemental and irritating one out of the suspects. I think it could be Whitney but would it even be worth it? If the Bianca mob were still around then maybe. Yeah I'm going with Jane. If they've learnt from the Archie saga then it's got to have most impact and be realistic. Jane. |

But Laurie wouldn't know she's the killer yet so why would she say she's signed for 2 years of it's a lie? I just can't see them breaking up the Beale unit. We're already losing Peter. If Janes the killer, that'll leave Ian, Cindy, Bobby and Beth. Two of which aren't related to Ian and one is a child who barely features. |

But why would she be allowed to say she's signed on for 2 years if she's in the suspect list? Could be false information or She might still be the killer and stay on also. I don't think we can really rule anything out at the end of the day. Probably was Ryan and Stacey's key belongs to the safe containing the murder weapon. |

They've invested so little in Whitney's character over the last 3 years....she's just been coasting along, so would the audience care if it was her? I do suspect her, but think it would be disappointing. |

This is my thinking. She doesn't even have Bianca around for an impact - though Patsy called it a day after they planned the story. They supposedly had a killer in mind before realising it didn't ring true and the big 4 who know sat down to decide a killer who makes sense so it's gotta be someone close to the Beales or a beale. "There's a killer amongst them" - a killer within the beale household I think. What would break Ian's heart the most is my questioning. |

I'm going to go for Cindy. There's a killer amongst them is a lot more fitting and fits with the whole "she's not Ian's child" way of thinking Cindy has. |

The fun begins now really. We have our suspects - we get analyse their every move now. I'm glad we've got Whitney back now too. |

I was wondering this. The only thing I remember was Laurie saying Jane was on to stay a year or 2. Which was really vague so I would be interested in where this was confirmed so we can get the context of it. Oh the life of a soap fan and reading between the lines of everything. |

Your approval is neither desired nor required. Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism". | |

I think someone other than Emma (RIP) knows who it is; they ether helped move the body and/or cover it up. I'm now thinking Abi - she's completely lost it this year; 18 years of Max & Tanya and other things have pushed her over the edge. Maybe Jay got Ben to help to protect her, as well as Max? Knowing their history I can't see Jane as the killer or Denise. Though I do suspect Jane as she has been acting weird. Why did she hide the phone and purse under the floorboards? Whitney's another possible, the character has been used a lot in the past, maybe they're saving her for the reveal and aftermath? I think Lee's a red herring as the character seems a bit dim and the actor isn't brilliant. Same with the Cokers but that 'hello Emma' in the pub was creepy yesterday! They've praised Mimi Keene to the hills for her acting so I don't think they'd make her the killer as it would limit Cindy's shelf life. Cindy is a legacy character and effectively the fifth Beale kid. Same with Peter, I thought it might be him a couple of weeks ago. It might still be. If it was Ian in a psychotic episode then it would be humongous, whether Adam was leaving or not. Now a key point is the killer knows Emma on first name terms and she had them in her phone. I think if it's anyone it's a Beale or Branning for sure. My top choice is Abi, followed by Jane and then Whitney (though did Emma know her?) with Peter as the outside possibility. |

It can be excused that Whitney and Emma are on first name terms. Was Emma in the house with Lauren when she confronted Lee and Fatboy the other week? |

There was a party that night at Ronnie's and Roxy's house. The video Tamwar took with Fatboy's phone was taken outside the house, so either they had stepped outside or had finished with the party. When Jay arrived, he pushed Fatboy and Tamwar and the video panned down the opposite side of the Square to show Lauren outside the Beale house. Emma kept going back to this scene again and again. For some reason, the party at Roxy's is significant. Well, several people left, allegedly unseen, for certain periods of time - Lee, Jay and Lauren notably.
It was the common at approx 2300 hours. It's the one they initially pulled on the website because too many techies were talking in the background. But it's up on YouTube without the sound. At the entrance to the Common, you can see the top of a car parked there. It appears to be dark-coloured, and Jane's care is a pastel blue, but it might have shown up differently under the cameras.
Which Abi uploaded on Lauren's laptop.
It's Ian's house. Ian lives two houses up from Masood in a terrace, and Jane's car, when she lived at Masood's, was part usually in front of the house that is between their two properties. I think she noticed on the night of Lucy's death that Jane's car wasn't there. But Jane told Lauren that she had seen her leave the door of Ian's house. She explained that she saw Lauren from the window at Masood's house, but for her to have seen that, she would have had to crane outside the window from the angle. Lauren had told Emma that no one was home when she called for Lucy, and Jane's care wasn't there. |

That was Jane's cover-your-arse moment. Lauren can cite her as having seen her, and that places Jane at the Masood's at that time of night. But she wasn't there - as Emma has determined, because her car wasn't there. |

Ian and Jane getting married on the same day of the reveal has relevance. Ian (if it's not him) finds out on the day of his wedding. This has to be the case. |
