How do you choose this week?! The whole cast and crew deserve it, particularly the likes of dtc himself, Laurie, Adam and mimi, but I'm going to pick lorna. She hugely surprised me this week, stole her scenes and was just incredible.

It's hard to choose after such an emotional, explosive live week, eh? From DTC and the crew to the cast... I bow down to yee...

However... my SALUTE OF THE WEEK definitely goes to Lorna Fitzgerald, who has played a blinder in her live scenes. A revelation if you will. :) I was convinced that she wouldn't carry it off as she got a chunk of the live scenes, but boy, was I wrong or was I wrong.

Lorna Fitzgerald, Eliot Carrington, Mimi Keene, Adam Woodyatt and Laurie Brett in particular.

Also Jo Joyner for the "How's Adam?" and Jessie Wallace. Although I wish Kat didn't spend the whole week drunk, Jessie played it brilliantly.

Pretty much all of the cast and crew who made live week possible.

Special mention to James Payne, Adam Woodyatt, Laurie Brett, Ben Hardy and Mimi Keane.

Not forgetting little Elliot.

Great writing and performances which have made the week a resounding success.

Well as a matter of course every cast and crew member collectively.

Karl Neilson for masterfully directing both the pre-recorded and live scenes and merging them seamlessly, the fact they had a live location shoot will be a thing I will always remember.

Adam Woodyatt for that mesmerising performance in the live episode, Laurie Brett, Mimi Keene, Ben Hardy and Elliot Carrington were superb also

And the writing was marvellous from James Payne and I cannot praise them enough for the Bobby twist and having the balls to do it.

The concept of the flashback episode was brilliant and it was done wonderfully.

Speaking of salutes. It looks like the Corrie cast on Twitter were gripped. Icons such as Beverley Callard and Julie Hesmondhalgh included!

Adam Woodyatt, Laurie Brett, Ben Hardy and Mimi Keene for achieving what I thought to be completely impossible. Laurie Brett in particular, who had the biggest challenge across the whole week.

Lorna Fitzgerald for slaying everything and everyone. Jo Joyner for demonstrating what a powerhouse actress she is as a way of making up for her now legendary mistake. It had to be someone.

And simply because he's had a bit of a battering (Abi style) - a salute to DTC. Controversial and divisive, yes. A failure or a ruiner of the show, no.

Those are the standouts, but the big salute goes to the entire cast and crew.

Adam Woodyatt and Ben Hardy .
If you always want what you can't have, what do you want when you can have anything?

I feel a salute for Julia Smith and Tony Holland is needed, seeing as they created the show we've just celebrated 30 years of.

Apologies for being slack with this the last couple of weeks. New job.
Just giving it a bump and I'll round up salutes around 8pm.

Maybe we should just keep it simple this week because we got write lists of people who deserve it this week.

Maybe we should just salute EastEnders itself.

Salute of the week EastEnders itself with VERY special mentions to

Adam Woodyatt, Laurie Brett, Ben Hardy and Mimi Keene (she's such an amazing young actress) Cindy reading out Lucy's note to Ian was one of the most heartbreaking things I've ever watched. Fridays episode was perfection
I hope they have Mimi signed to a very long contract with the show. She's a star.
And DTC and all the cast and crew of course

Well done to everyone involved
