Actually ... EVERYONE from Tuesday's episode. It was, without the shadow of a doubt, pitch perfect - the right cast, the right script, the right timing for everyone included. It had the feel of the show when it was at its height in the 1990s once more. Each storyline was related by a theme, each one moulded into the other one seamlessly, and more importantly, the viewer cared about each and every character on the screen.

Abso-bloody-lutely perfect.

I echo others, very strong performances all round. Ann Mitchell, Linda Henry, Timothy West and Steve McFadden definitely deserve a mention. Outstanding.

Cack ... nothing's perfect. It was only for a couple of minutes. Obviously, they knew how to limit his "boundless" talent.

Tuesday reminded me why I still love this programme so much after all these years so special mentions to:

Bo Poraj for writing the best episode of the year.

Linda Henry whose performance in the Carter story moved me most even though I'm not keen on Shirley.

Classy Jessie Wallace who can convey so much whilst doing very little, the mark of a great screen actor.

Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie. Superb, real and heartbreaking. I hope they don't leave Walford forever.

Shane Richie proved he's one of the strongest actors the show has with Friday's heartbreaking performance and Jessie Wallace was equally as heartbreaking. It's a testament to them that out of a talented cast the production team have decided to 'spin-off' these two characters into their own stand alone drama series.

Wanted to revive this topic to salute the brilliant Rakhee Thakrar, but also give a little shoutout to the actress who played the midwife Comfort in tonight's episode, Nicola Alexis, who I thought did a great job.

Me too. That bit was brilliant, In fact every scene between Sharon and Kathy was amazing. I would have loved it to have been just them in that episode. I'm so tired I've forgotten what they episodes like that! :$
