Absolutely hilarious, If Norton gets them two on the sofa he has guaranteed comedy gold. I would have loved to see barbara windsor on the golf buggy! |

Ah that was so much better than the first episode! Love Rita and Sam together, cringing over Roxy and Sean's sex scene and criticising the icy lake and baby swap storylines. And taking the piss out of Scott Maslen messing up in Live@25. |

Dear, oh dear ... no one liked the babyswap, did they? Interesting to hear Rita Simons say that Alfie and Roxy could have worked, but they got together much too soon. Had Jessie Wallace left the show, an Alfie-Roxy pairing would have worked just fine. And I literally pissed myself laughing at Rita going on and on about Danielle just standing there and letting the car hit her. Everyone said as much at the time. |

Speaking of the baby swap, I read somewhere that it was the second most complained about storyline. What was the first most complained about them? |

No I think the baby swap is the all time winner: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/news/a296703/eastenders-complaints-hit-record.html#~p2PgA3EyJmcMMW Barry and Colin's kiss set the mark though. |

Sublime. I could have watched an entire hour of these two. Actually, with all the huge scenes that have been missed so far I think each episode should have been. Even the cast think the baby swap was a step too farm |

Loved every minute of it... Sam and Rita seem like such warm, genuine, funny women. Feels a bit like they're sisters as well! |

I think the baby swap was first, followed by Danielle's death. |

Just watching Shane & Jessie's ep now. "You aint my muvva" probably wouldn't have been the iconic scene it is if Jessie has whispered the line instead of shouting it. |

Sam and Rita's was hilarious, insightful, entertaining, in fact everything that Shane and Jessie's wasn't. I found S & J weirdly disconnected and frankly, dull. She didn't offer much and his 'singing' of the theme tune at the end with her overdoing her Kat laugh was a bit cringey. |

Watching that episode, especially after they did an impression of Scott, makes me sure that the Peggy impression wasn't scripted. |

I love how honest Rita and Sam were. You could just get vibes of them that the baby swap storyline was too much and very draining for them, probably why Sam left at the time. Funny how Shane and Jessie remembered stories long before then than a more recent story. And to think the exec producer at the time went on This Morning to say he had full support of the cast and crew! Doesn't look that way. And I forgot how bad Sean's exit was and totally slipped my mind about Kat and Alfie on the plane, not sure if I even saw that at the time of airing, was probably at the end of my tether with the love and warmth by that stage. So, who's episode is on Tuesday? |

Nitin and Himesh next, followed by Diane, Tameka and Rudolph, Adam and Laurie and then Pam and Babs. |

Enjoyed Shane and Jessie's episode, but Sam and Rita were hilarious. The babyswap was loathed it seems by cast aswell as viewers. It did indeed not have to go that one step further. Their criticism of the lake storyline was brilliant, loved how they took the mick out of Scott Maslen's ballsing up his lines on EE Live. And the Barbara impression "Get out the way it's live!" it was fabulous. |
