Episode 3 is on iPlayer now. I enjoyed it, but not as much as episode 2. I think they chose some good clips. |

You can tell how much Nitin loves the show. I hope we see the Masoods rebuilt this year. I'd love to see Afia and Zee again. Even Syed and Amira. I'd love to see what DTC could do with them. |

I found it sad that they have had some amazing scenes and really knocked it out of the park. I didn't like masood xmas at the time but the scenes looked great looking back. I found it sad they're a little underrated, probably because as a family they're much more normal than most ee families. I would love to see them build on the masoods more. For masood to have a new love interest then zainab to eventually come back or something. I'd prefer them not to get back together but living as a family unit with a new girlfriend would be brilliant |

It's amazing that Nina wasn't really known for her drama before EastEnders when you see her serve it up so spectacularly well. |

It's nearly always the way with comic actors isn't it? Well except Terry Alderton. But to be fair saying he was 'comic' is also a bit of a stretch tbh |

I didn't realise how much I've missed the Masoods until watching this. Completely forgot about baby Masood too - can't even remember his name. They've had a quiet time since Masoods dark side so I hope they get a big story this year. Also forgot Tanwar has had good moments. Gonna go check if rude Masood is still a website now. |

I tried to enjoy that but I couldn't get over the strange levels of UST between Nitin and Himesh... Seriously though, I do miss the Masoods so much. At one point, they were the strongest force in the show. At least they appear to be being built up again now. |

Nitin seems to really love Eastenders but I didn't get that vibe from Himesh. He seems like a slightly more lively version of Tamwar.

Can I just say Himesh Patel is adorable without the glasses and shirt button all the way up. Who knew? |

Himesh is literally playing himself. He seemed pretty self-congratulatory as well which is odd seeing as I think he's a shit actor. Nitins great though, really likeable fella. |

Nitin's great fun and I didn't mind Himesh too much - he seems to be what Tamwar should be: quirky and awkward without being deadpan and lifeless. Those clips reminded me how much I like the Masoods though. I know people don't like yo-yo couples but Nitin and Nina just work together so if Zainab came back and they stuck together, we'd have a great Masood unit again. |

I forgot how good the Masoods have been in the past, they've been a bit quiet but I hope that once Shabnam's secret about her child is out this will lead to a bigger story for them. They've actually had some really great stories/scenes over the years. |

Jane spraying her Beale's Plaice is a scene I didn't need to see twice. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

Himesh is just Tamwar's slightly relaxed twin. The one without constipation. I found him oddly charmless. To be frank I am happy with the current Masood set up; I don't really want Zainab back or Afia. Zainab's character hit the heights of panto and excess at the end of her last stint. Plus the clip from Tam's wedding just reminded me of how diluted both Masoods became; from insulting Christian and leaving him bleeding in the street to cosy DVD nights and foot massages. |

The non stop classic or 'big' scenes of the first two episodes is less apparent in the last two episodes, which is interesting because I do think the Masoods and the Fox/Truemans have had their moments over the years. I can't believe they missed out "Right then. I'm off." And they should have included Denise saying goodbye to Kevin at the morgue and Denise breaking down in Patrick's arms after Lucy's death, but maybe they didn't want two 2014 ones. |

What a lovely 20 minutes that was... I get the feeling Rudolph, Diane and Tameka are genuinely fond of each other. Nice selection of scenes too, although I would have liked something from Denise's earlier years - like when Owen wormed his way back in, only to start hitting her again. But hey, you can't have it all ![]() |

So hard to fit so many scenes in 20 minutes, I think they chose a good selection. Love The Truemans/Foxes and hope they're around for a long while yet. |
