It's Martin, Stacey and Kush. Martin kicks the door in. |

I quite like the choice of characters. Just like the first episode, it establishes what the future of the show is going to be, and younger characters like Martin, Kush and Stacey are the ones that will bring the show into another 30 years. I approve. Still would have been nice to have had a Sharon in there, but it might not fit in with the events of next week. Too excited now. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

Fatboy would make sense to do the whole 'omg man Mrs B innit etc...' But being Stacey's old home that makes sense |

I think we should all be thankful that isn't happening. |

Kush is an interesting thought. He has really had a quiet intro, just a few scenes here and there. Apart from managing to avoid snogging Sonia (lucky escape) and he likes Shabnam, we dont know too much else about him. He looks a decent chap so far, I hope they dont go down the comedy "Gary and Minty" routine with him |

Reading into it, you could say that Martin, Stacey and Kush each represent the beginning, middle and end of the first thirty years. You could also say that they are the 'future' of EastEnders. The end of the first thirty years is the beginning of another. I adore that Martin is back for the anniversary episodes. The fact that he actually kicks the door in gives me goosebumps. That exact same thing was happening thirty years ago whilst his mum found out she was pregnant. One thing I do hope though is that Martin is around for a good few years. They can't recast him then let him go after a year or two. |

So we have Martin for Arthur, Kush for Ali and Stacey for Den. I would laugh my ASS off if she said Den's line. |

Apparently Pauline McLynn said on Irish radio that she will be back for a stint in March? |

Stacey's there in the door kicking scene? I thought it wasn't going to be the Stacey Slater show!! (Joke) Makes sense for it to be these three. Martins an original, also Mark had feuds with Nick. Kush is friends with Martin, and Stacey. And hopefully this is the start of Stacey and Martin sharing screen time together and becoming a couple like people have predicted It's a good time to be an eastenders fan. |

I might need to watch the first episode to get the transcript to see how many nods there are. |
