>:( Carol above everyone? Feels qualified to see a 3 second picture through a window and form a negative opinion about Max? And then, to march over and give him some welly without even taking the time to learn the truth? Max is justified to give it right back to her and I hope he does.

Yeah let's hate on a character because they got the wrong impression. If she'd been right we'd have all been cheering her on. Max has previous and a lot of it and it wouldn't be out of character or unexpected at all for him to do what Carol was thinking.
Warning: Posts made by The Local Butcher may contain sarcasm, frustrated expressions of fatigue in the face of Eastenders' neverending insanity, desperate and ill-conceived attempts to be funny, controversial opinions and nuts. Not necessarily in that order.

Quite hypocritical of her, after she slept with Billie's mate after he died.

I can see her getting it wrong while looking through the window, but once she got inside she could see he'd been crying and he told her who she was. Why then would she think that something romantic was going on? It's a bit of a stretch if you ask me.

Carol's SON and Connor's mate died, they were both single and felt very vulnerable hence they reached out to each other through connecting via Billie.

Max, who recently lost his girlfriend in tragic circumstances, someone who he apparently loved is making out (in Carols eyes) with her mother on the day of the funeral.

The latter is far worse.
