These are really good suggestions. I would also like Stan and Big Mo to face off too!
Your approval is neither desired nor required.

Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism".

Sharon and Denise - Could be a great natural Friendship best female friendship Sharon has had since Shell, how much better the scene would of been if Sharon confided in Denise not self righteous hypercritical St Jane.

Sharon and Jay - I know they have scenes being part of the Mitchell clique but their scenes would be great if Sharon met Jay Brown not the puppet Jay Mitchell who feeds of scraps from the resident adams family but the rebel who had the overriding conscience of the once written love of her life do you all remember Dennis? and was reminiscent of her rogue father in that young Jay had the sharp smart mouth of the original King of Walford, who knows Sharon might take Jay on like a decade ago Dot took on Dennis.

Carol and Ian - I quiet like their scences in a way I liked Ian's scenes with Denise before they fowled up putting them together like his scenes with Denise pre putting them together these scenes ground ian.

Kat and Whitney - Had one of the best scenes together in recent times and with Lilly in common Bianca away it would great to see Whitney integrate with her and Stacy more.

Martin, Kosh and Charlie - could be a great group of mates.

Patrick and Jay - I like their friendship.

Ian and Martin - Are first cousins would been great if Martin came back last year when David was around it would of been interesting having to Beales under the same roof living with the Branning girls lol but it would be good to see Martin interact with Ian, Liam and Bobby.

Ian and Liam - Loved the scene when he grounded Liam on his Maternal-Paternal side of the history the scene worked well just like scenes in the future would.

Martin and Stacy - This is a big one everyone on here is building up for this.

Agree with many of the above, but also want to add:

Kat and Linda - As much as I'm not a fan of Linda, I think Kat could relate to her better than Stacey.
Liam and Ian

Carol and Denise. Ladies night showed promise of an actual friendship, can we please have one? Neither of these ladies has a proper good friend outside of their families so there's a gap there.

Kat and Whitney for sure. One of the best moments of Lorraine Newman's tenure was their bonding episode and I think it's a real shame that it's been effectively forgotten and they have nothing to do with each other now.

Lola is underused, IMO. It doesn't seem real that she's a young woman without girlfriends. Not knowing what part Jay will play in the Lucy saga, it may not be possible but I'd like to see them together.

It absolutely baffles me why they don't utilise Mo at all. Granted, Laila is limited in her performances, but she's good enough to take on a more serious role. This woman's done time in prison. She's buried a child. Harboured family secrets for decades. She is a massive plot waiting to happen and with unexplored children and a 15 year history in the show, as well as links to some massive characters, she deserves her moment.

Get that ball rolling with Rebecca. It's a scene waiting to happen.
"I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver
