Dot, Nick and Ian have big storylines in the anniversary week. It seems like Sharon doesnt have a story/involvement in the anniversary week. Sharon is an original and should be involved. Thoughts? |

Sorry I mean I have a feeling she isn't involved. Nick, Dot and Ian have a huge focus that week but we haven't heard anything about Sharon that week. I hope she has an involvement but there is a lot happening in anniversary week

Yes, I think so too which will hopefully let Sharon & Phil have a major part in the 30th as well as Ian, Dot and Nick.

I think Sharon will play apart, remember Peggy is back. I'm hopping for a cat fight like the Shirley v Pat one! |

Peggy and Sharon resolved their differences in 2006. Why on earth would they fight?! |

I wonder when Sharon contacting her birth mother storyline will start up again. The funeral scenes were filmed before Christmas so it cant be that far away. |

Because Peggy was so vile about her in the scenes in 'Portugal' last year. |

Sharon is involved not only will she be apart of the Beales storylines and Peggy's return but they are exploring her birth family. |

I am assuming they are keeping the retcon from post 2006. But if Sharon's "big" story is going to be a catfight with Peggy then yeah its not really anything big. We were told the focus would be on Dot, Ian and Sharon. If her focus is only this then yeah not really being a focus. I do hope there is a lot more for her and Dot/Ian. I think Ian's a given despite it having no build up apart from a few episodes before which is a real shame. |

Your approval is neither desired nor required. Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism". | |

I was under the impression that ALL the cast are involved with the anniversary episodes, even if it does mean a handful haven't much / or any dialogue, and may be standing in the back of scenes in the Vic for Ian and Jane's wedding. I'd imagine Sharon will be heavily involved, especially because of being a friend of the wedding couple. One of the originals. |

I still think Grant will turn up with Phil when Phil returns, and it will be the anniversary ep. |

Sharon will be involved because Phil's going missing and will inevitably turn up in anniversary week. |

Yep most likely Grunt will turn up for one episode, get Sharon's knickers wet (and some fans I assume), and then bugger off again. The end. |

She'll very definitely be involved. We've been told the week is an ensemble piece with the Beales, Cottons and Mitchells taking the lead. She may not have something as juicy as the Beales or the Cottons, but she'll be there. |
