Why isn't Sharon involved in the 30th anniversary?

I actually think the Mitchells might have the happiest storyline of Live Week; Sharon being accepted into the fold. I think Phil will realise how Sharon protected Ben and he'll return with Peggy (and if we're lucky, Grant and/or Sam) who will finally welcome her into the family properly. This is assuming Ben isn't Lucy's killer, which I think is unlikely since he's already implicated and has killed someone before so it's too obvious.

To be fair, it's not as if Letitia Dean has appeared for all 30 years. Granted she's been involved in some big stuff, but I can see why they've given the big stuff to Adam Woodyatt as he's been there from the start pretty much.

The Mitchells were the focus of the 25th.

I don't think anyone is pinning Letitia against Adam, some are merely suggesting as one of the original characters and a soap Icon, Sharon should also have a big storyline to celebrate the 30th alongside Ian and the Cottons.

Sharon has been very prominent since the start of the year, is present in the anniversary week episodes and will have her own storyline playing out soon as her birth family are explored.

As a Sharon fan, I'm very happy with all that.

Sharon is involved in anniversary week but Ian and Dot will get the biggest stories because they have been on the show for a long time.

In regards to Sharon and Phil, Phil will probably realise how much Sharon loves him and shes a true Mitchell matriarch. Sharon is protecting Ben and when Phil finds out, I'm sure he will be very proud of her. I'm very excited for Phil and Sharon's future. So glad Phil and Sharon are married now and DTC does like Sharon with the Mitchells. I don't think Peggy will give Sharon her approval but if she finds out what Sharon have been doing, maybe she will give Sharon her full blessing. DTC did say Sharon is the new matriarch of the Mitchells :)

Sharon will be definitely involved in the 30th, it would be unforgivable of Dom if she wasn't.

I reckon seeing as Phil is released from prison and goes missing, I'd say he returns in anniversary week.
To do what remains to be seen.

I'm wondering if we'll have to wait until then to find out what is actually in her letter from Carol?
