Looks like we'll be seeing some old episodes being repeated through BBC Red Button during anniversary week, with the first episode and Good Friday 2014* being the first two at least to be confirmed, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006m86d/broadcasts/upcoming *In this case, the term "classic" may be being used a little loosely. Hopefully there'll be more to come! |

I'd love to see the full Sharongate and Christmas 86 episodes as I wasn't on earth when they first aired. |

I think it's great they're showing Lucy's last episode again. I've watched some of it online a few times to look for clues about the murder, and I expect people who haven't seen it online would like to be reminded of what happened to Lucy before the reveal. I've seen the first episode but will probably watch it again. The credits are interesting, instead of showing who got the cliffhanger they start with Reg Cox. |

I'd love to see the Who Shot Phil? episode or the Kat/Zoe reveal, or any classic episodes between 1998 and 2002, for that matter. |

I remember there being a phone-in vote on a previous anniversary (either the 20th or 25th) to repeat a classic episode and Tiffany's death won, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was included this time. |

That was for the 15th anniversary in 2000, so Tiffany 's exit episode was only just over a year old then. |

I loved it when for the 10th anniversary, they did early morning repeats of the first sixty-odd episodes. I taped them all and still watch them occasionally: over 30 hours of Den, Angie, Lou, Ethel, Lofty, Dr Legg... Such Fun! |

I don't get why they stopped uploading Classic EE on the Youtube channel. They did the first 52 episodes and never bothered again. |

Yeah, that was really jarring. I understand they can't put them all up because of licensing or whatever but even a select few from different years would be nice. Instead we've got a bunch of post-2000 scenes. |

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/news/a627058/first-ever-eastenders-episode-to-be-repeated-for-30th-anniversary.html Brilliant news and considering how most are speculating how Nick will die in an echo of Reg Cox rather apt too. |

I agree with Katie about showing Lucy's last episode again. Having seen it recently, I think it'll help viewers to engage more with the flashback episode. Really not sure the timing will allow it to serve the purpose, though. Red button channel for me is 301; I was out on Tuesday evening so put Back to Ours on timer, but it recorded football. It means you have to physically press the red button, so people will have to be up at 3:30am to see it - unless of course they're then put onto iPlayer. |

I'm assuming they won't just be shown at 3am/3.30am. Thursday's episode of Back to Ours is still on the red button. |

Oh right. Not sure what went on on Tuesday then, I tried to get Back to Ours on red button when I got in but it wouldn't work. |

Interesting they've put Good Friday on. Perhaps they're encouraging us to look for clues? |

I think it's just so we can watch it before watching the flashback. I know I'll be watching both episodes together looking for continuity errors!
