http://digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/news/a627777/eastenders-star-letitia-dean-sharon-and-phil-are-right-together.html We don't often hear from Letitia Dean but I like her insight into Sharon . I hope 2015 is the year that Sharon is right back at the forefront of the show . Sharon is such a watchable character . |

Easily one of the best things so far in 2015 has been Sharon. She had her moments last year, but since Phil's been put in jail, Sharon Mitchell has risen from the Phoenix and just been an absolute tour de force. Storming around the Square trying to keep her family in check. It's all exactly where Sharon should be. Her natural development. Right at the forefront of the show. And as the year progresses, we have Sharon's biological family being explored which, again, gives her that purpose and development into new pastures that keeps a legend fresh. Tish seems so lovely and nice and no one plays camp quite like her. Hope she stays on the show for a good while now. Just love seeing her onscreen again, which I didn't think I'd get to say after enduring "Light-Drizzle Sharon" for over a year. Ps, Sharon in Spain? Sipping cocktails on a sun lounger and flirting with Spanish men? Count me in. Edited by The Other Slater Cousin, 10 Feb 2015, 02:18.

| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

I agree with Letitia Dean. Her and Phil are a great couple and they had some great drama last year. Can't wait to see what the future holds for Sharon and Phil. |

She doesn't need her biological family, and the show doesn't need them either. |

Oh God I think I fancy Letitia as much as I do Sharon. What a lovely lady - you can tell she knows her character and the square inside out. Good shout on the Ray Winstone casting as well. |

The last bit of that interview was interesting, she seems genuinely happy that the character is being written better again. 2012-13 was awful, 2014 was mixed and so far this year she has been written spot on. I remember there seemed to be a time during the 12-13 period when all that Sharon was doing was arguing and being unpleasant to people. |

Great interview I love Letitita. Hopefully as she seems happy with the way Sharon is now it means she will be staying with the show long term. And by that I mean forever! She's so lovely Yes I would love her to be my friend too. X |
