Dennis in a suit is most certainly the biggest winner for me. |

Me too. He was gorgeous, especially in a suit.

If she knew that it was in her contract not to dye her hair, why did she do it? |

Who knows...some people think they can get away with it or are above it all or maybe she simply didn't think about it. I work in costume in theatre and actors quite often have to ask for permission to do anything with their hair...and sometimes they just don't. |

It's a fair point. But generally, not like they've just walked out of a catalogue. |

I like to think I regularly look like I'm fresh from a catalogue. A nice catalogue, with glossy pages and a hardback cover. You know the sort... |

I definitely don't wear anything from a catalogue. Ehehehe. I usually wear a shirt and jogging pants. |

In my world, the 'fashion' that the characters wear is the norm. |

Wedding dresses. The wardrobe department must seek out the most hideous dresses available. Bianca and her puffy jacket. Now it's Lola's and it's changed colour! Denise is always well-dressed and gorgeous. Kat can't help herself; she simply cannot contain those puppies. Alfie's print shirts...'nuff said. |

It's fairly normal for me too, especially people in their 20's. |

At least they dress a bit better for the weather. On "Days of our Lives" over here, some characters dress like its summer!

I think the wardrobe choices are extremely well done for4 each of the characters.....Not at all like the clothes on the American soaps...very realistic |

I think the costumes (which is what they are) are pretty spot on. I think the actors have some input as well, in the Rita and Sam 'Gogglebox' they discussed how Roxy was supposed to have a sexy wedding dress for her non marriage to Alfie but Rita objected and they went for the more romantic, fairytale (Ha!) option. I think Letitia/Sharon looks very glam except for those awful ringletty hair extensions. She would look much better if it was straight and glossy like it used to be. |

Sharon/Tish should wear her hair up more. It brings out her jawline in a more flattering way. I think Ronnie and Roxy have always been spot on with the costumes. As the years have progressed, Roxy's wardrobe has grown up and become more adult, whilst still having that "cheap" feel, which suits the character to a tee. And as for Ronnie, she switches from soft blouses to striking business bitch quicker than you can say "It's kettle". You can always tell where Ronnie's mind is by her costumes, like many characters, which highlights how underrated the work of the Costume Department is. | "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |
