So the Eastenders Twitter account just posted this. Do we think it's going to be a spoiler? |

I really hope it's an announcement regarding the live scenes next week. Not as to who is in which ones or what each one is about but when to expect them. For example: Tuesday 19:50-20:00, Wed 19:40-19:50, etc etc. |

I've been wondering about that too... if they don't give us an indication before the episodes air, we have no way of knowing what is live and what isn't... unless they plan on having a big pink flashing "L" in the corner of the screen...

They're going to have #EELive in the corner of the screen during the live segments. |

I can just imagine #EELive plastered across the screen. In all seriousness though, I think they'll probably say what part of the episodes are live at 00:01 on the actual day. |

As a personal preference I would prefer not to have the hashtag on while the show is live, kills it a bit for me. But that's just me personally. I would think the live parts due to several factors most of us will know anyway? |

Your approval is neither desired nor required. Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism". | |

Yeah I'm not too bothered about the live parts being pointed out on-screen. I'd rather just watch it and guess for myself, then they can reveal which scenes were live after the episode. With the caption, I feel like everyone's going to be sitting there waiting for the hashtag to pop up, whereas without it, it's a lot easier to just enjoy the episodes as a whole without compartmentalising them into 'live' and 'not live'. |

Yeah, I'm not bothered with having them pointed out either, it would have been fun to guess, but I'm happy that that are being pointed it nevertheless. |

Just seems a bit amateur for me. I don't even like cable channels that have their logo at the top. Why I enjoy EE as it doesn't have that if you watch it on 1. I would have preferred it to be revealed afterwards or a red button preference. It popping up halfway through the episode is a bit grating. Even so most people can tell the difference as its not exactly the same without all the editing to the camera work etc so I don't feel its necessary but that's me. I wouldn't like it if I was watching a film with hashtags popping up either. I prefer to get immersed into the moment. When I read about this yesterday I was a bit disappointed. Not the end of the world I just feel its not really right for EE. I don't think we will need to guess either its very obvious lookswise when their live and when they aren't from previous stints even the torch episode. Edited by Jade, 13 Feb 2015, 18:00.
