Lisa is still the mother of Phil's child, and Mel still has unfinished business with Phil as she ran off with his bail money. They are the only ones that have a chance of returning, one day. maybe. |

Garry and Minty would be great returns though, they were brilliant everymen. |

But they weren't everymen. They were cliche losers. |

I really liked Lisa Fowler and Lucy Benjamin. |

They became victims of some poor D-plots toward the end but both were terrific actors connected to a lot of characters. Garry giving Bobby to Ian is one of my favourite scenes ever. |

I'd be buzzing if they were lying about Grant and he actually turns up unannounced! It would be a awesome gesture from Ross Kemp to the show that really kick started his career. |

Saeed & Naima Jeffery return to re-open First til Last, seeing as the Minute Mart is closing. |

Garry did have potential when he was in the Slater fold but after that he became a filler character. Minty was always a filler character that seemed to go through the biggest personality transplant in the shortest space of time. |

What DTC's era is really missing right now is a big, grand doof doof of Naima revealing her new hair cut. I loved Joe Wicks but I don't think we'll be seeing him again. |

I don't see how they could be considered filler characters when they had so many connections and different plots? Minty was tied with the Mitchell's, the biggest family on the show. I actuallg think Garry was a breath of fresh air after Lynne left... he was much more suited to Kat than Lynne. |

Garry and Minty were definately filler characters with filler plot stories after Lynne departed. The magazine wedding competition? Garry going missing because Dawn turned him down only to see himself on the news in the pub as a dead man? Fighting in the Square in their fat suits? Garry should have departed with Lynne when she left. Minty, well, he was victim of serious and consistently bad writing. I'm surprised he lasted so long without a proper story to his name other than his on-off love for Sam. |

P.S. I don't ever want to see Grant again. Ross Kemp shouldn't be allowed on television as a role model. |

I loved their double act but I don't think they have any ties now. Minty is just a funnier version of Billy that Phil actually took seriously, and Garry is just an ex in-law of Kat and Stacey. |

Why.. What has Ross Kemp done so bad that you have taken offence to? |

I witnessed him attack a 15 year old boy, pulling him down steps by his leg, grabbing him by the shirt and pushing him against a vehicle shouting "you think you're a tough boy?". When he was questioned be claimed he was rehearsing his scripts. It was a completely unprovoked attack as I was there from start to finish. He was later asked to phone the boy personally and apologise but the boy refused to take a call from him. |

And how long ago was this? If true then he's out of order, but people make mistakes. That said I like RK and love his documentaries! |

It was December 2005. It could just as easily been me he decided to launch his aggression towards so for that reason, I think the man is an animal. |
