If Ian is the killer

Just wondering what people would want the conclusion to be if it turns out Ian is the killer?

We know Ben Hardy is leaving and I don't think too many people would be greatly upset if a Jane ends up in prison but what if it's Ian? Nobody seems too thrilled at the prospect of it being blamed in Nick, we all want a satisfying conclusion but what would that be?

Another breakdown that isn't written badly. Adam's acting was fantastic, but having him walking round as a grunting tramp just made the plot seem funny instead of serious.

The only realistic way I can see it being Ian is if Adam Woodyatt has secretly informed TPTB that he wants to call it a day after the 30th, and that this whole storyline has been the build-up to the exit of all exits.

Shock, fear, worry in that order, but hopefully a time when I come to terms with it, as long as it is explained carefully.

Oh God. It's not normal to be this nervous for a TV show.

The killer is staying on the Square or going to New Zealand for a good five years, whoever it is. Nick Cotton will be blamed for the murder. Easy enough to blame a corpse.

As long as Tanya isn't the one to unmask him then it should be alright.

I'd be disappointed if it was Ian. Especially if he knew and therefore the way he (rightly) reacted to Lucy's death was all guilt rather than utter sadness.

Any one but Ian please, he's a weasel but he's our weasel and the Square needs him. I'd be devastated a foolish option is better than this would be

Adam Woodwyatt is quite expressive and he doesn't look like he did it. He looks like he knows people think he did it and is amused as he knows he didn't.

I definitely don't think he's leaving and he's known all along. Adam said ages ago he hoped he wasn't the murderer, and he wouldn't have done that if he'd known. I won't mind if it's him, but if it isn't I really want him to find out who did it. I don't like the idea of everyone thinking it's Nick (or someone else).
