After almost a year, a lot of people are FURIOUS that the killer turned out to be Bobby and thought it was an anti-climax. I know that I will still watch, but many people HATE the climax and feel that the shark has been jumped when Kathy Sullivan was revealed to be alive. Either way, I do feel that they might lose a lot of viewers.

I praised this man too soon. I'll give it until tomorrow's episode, but I fear I'll be turning off for the first time since it started.

But you shouldn't let what happened tonight to make you stop watching read this interview http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/news/a630200/eastenders-boss-on-bobby-reveal-its-the-start-of-a-bigger-story.html and read this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Need-About-Kevin-Serpents-Classics/dp/1846687349/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1424420242&sr=1-1&keywords=kevin

I won't stop watching. If I can put up with snakegate I can put up with this.

Hang on, snakegate -- it was BOBBY!

But, we shouldn't need the promise of the aftermath of a story to accept the conclusion of a much hyped one (and one that for ten months has been brilliant).

I'll continue watching but my perception of EastEnders has taken a hit since last night, there's no doubt about it. I didn't like it / buy it when Den Watts returned in 2003 and I don't like it / buy it that Kathy has been resurrected, even if Sarah Phelps has written her return episode. It's clunky, far-fetched storytelling and the antithesis of the show that Julia Smith and Tony Holland created. Dominic Treadwell-Collins' team have simultaneously honoured EastEnders' roots and trampled all over it all in one evening with the return of a dead character and a 11 year old as the culprit in a long running murder whodunnit.

I found yesterday's viewing experience quite upsetting/insulting. Not sure if I want to watch a caricature of the EE I loved for 30 years (with ups and downs)

So do people think Eastenders deserve Best soap at the Soap Awards in May? We have other storylines like Stacey's key, Dot, Ronnie, Roxy, Charlie, The Beale's, Kathy, Phil, Sharon, Max and the Carters.

Exactly. I think people should stick with Eastenders a bit longer see what happens with Stacey's key, the carters, The Beale's, The Mitchell's, Sharon, Max, Abi, Jay, Dot, Charlie, Shabnam plus Masood and Tamwar and Krush findind ut her secret and Martin and Kat and Alfie.

I'm a bit worried about the show going down the sensationalist route, but no way am I giving up my favourite TV show for love nor money!

If I want fantasy, I'll read Grimm's Fairy Tales.
