Hi there, I'm new to this forum, so please be gentle, lol. Got a question .......... What on earth has happened to Sharon's son Denny. He seems to have just disappeared and I can't remember any explanation as to where he has gone. Anyone know?? Thanks in advance |

Staying round a mates. I don't know. He can only work a certain amount of hours. He might be getting recast, though too early to bother with that in my opinion. |

He was in the kitchen eating a biscuit. He went upstairs and will probably come down with a new head. |

Your approval is neither desired nor required. Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism".

Presumably he's with Aleks. Along with Amy, Matthew, Janet, Lexi and Ineta. |

He's been eating a biscuit in the kitchen for months! He must be a slow eater (or it's a big biscuit). |

You can't just come bounding in here like John Wayne on a Spacehopper!

I doubt he is with Alexs as all the other kids are credited tonight along with Alexs and he is not. |

I wouldn't say I hated him but I never found him the most likeable of child characters, and that was even before he started to misbehave. I Just find him very spoilt and pampered, I can't imagine they will bother recasting him yet maybe in a couple of years. |

They dropped him and the storyline of his horrible behaviour, perhaps because it conflicted with Bobby killing Lucy and his story. I hated Sharon running around after him in a state of near panic, screaming 'Denny! Denny!'. I presume he will be back with a new head at some point. |

Denny is why I never entertained the thought of bobby being the killer. There's already one kid in Walford that's a sociopath, felt they'd be over egging it to have another. Remember when Denny lied compulsively about Whitney physically abusing him. But maybe there is a beautiful blossoming friendship growing beneath this all. Bobby and Denny are peas in a pod.

The only advantage I can see to having Denny on-screen is to see the relationship between him and Phil. Now Phil's got a half-stable family unit, I'd quite like to see how he acts as a father figure to Denny. We didn't really see him with either of his kids when they were his age and Steve McFadden works really well with the younger cast members. Beyond that, I'm happy for Denny to keep eating his biscuit for another 10 years. |

I thought Denny might get a little less stick now that Bobby has been revealed as an actual devil child. I've not been a fan of him since the bad behaviour storyline. I think it's to do with the fact that being a mother doesn't really fit Sharon's character, just as it doesn't Roxy's. Denny's actor is presumably allowed the same/more hours than Lily's actor, but we see her more often. |

Maybe Bobby killed Denny, and Sharon just hasn't noticed yet.

He appeared briefly on Boxing Day, I'm not sure they would have bothered with that if he was about to be re-cast. I'm not bothered about seeing him a lot, but I'd like to see him soon as it's been a while since he spoke. If Sharon's brother ever comes to Walford I expect we'll see him around that time. I don't see the point of a re-cast unless he wants to leave. |

I always found him one of the most irritating of the current children, not helped by Sharon's attitude that he could do no wrong. Although Tiffany (Butcher) and Janine (Rebecca Michael version) were not exactly the best behaved kids, there was always something amusing or charming about their misdeeds, something I've never found with Denny. |
