I actually like the nickname Denny. It's a nice display of affection and it helps to differentiate from his dad and grandad. And I can imagine in 15 years time when he's a total villain he will be 'Demon Denny'. |

The full script is "Shut your mouth - don't talk with your mouth full whilst you're eating a biscuit in my kitchen!" |

I think "shut your mouth" is when she's having a row with Denny. I saw one of the articles last night and apparently she will have a massive row with Denny. Denny will be a villain in future, won't he? I do miss Denny and Sharon scenes actually. |

Yeah it's got be the row, he must say something disrespectful about her or even his dad to get that sort of reaction from Sharon, she's been like that with other people in the past but not Denny. So it's got to be bad. I miss them too. Edited by Christina, 16 Mar 2015, 22:01.

I think it's got a touch of Pat and David. Sharon's being a mother to the entire family right now, and as the years go on, I'd assume Denny would get quite envious of that. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

"While viewers will have to wait and see exactly how the scenes play out, Jane and Ian both end up confronting Sharon about Dennis's behaviour and her parenting skills." Why not confront yourselves over the fact your son killed his sister? |

Your approval is neither desired nor required. Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism". | |

Ian and Jane are such hypocrites having a go at Sharon over her parenting skills! Their son killed Ian's daughter and Jane helped cover it up for almost a year. |

I know Sharon hasnt been the best mother to Denny, but Ian and Jane have some nerve to confront Sharon about her parenting skills. Especially Jane. |

As much as I admit Sharon isn't the best mother. She never walked out on her son for months. And Denny needs to have a major attitude adjustment you don't attack your mother (he really is like a Mitchell). But a scratch on the face compared to killing your own sister? And Jane who disappears for months out of her child's life think they have the right to say anything? Shame Sharon doesn't know or she could tell them what she thinks. |

I was thinking it was very unlike Sharon not to say something back but I've just realised she doesn't know about Bobby/Jane/Lucy. Bobby and Denny have had similar lives (one dead parent that neither of them knew, multiple step parents and step siblings) and Denny might be a brat and spoilt but he's never killed a family member! |

Jane and Ian seem to return as prized assholes by the sound of all these spoilers. Can't wait. |

I was kinda hoping that the we had a new Denny, as the lad who plays him grates on me. I was hoping he would reappear from the kitchen with a new head, biscuit in one hand, asking if someone could help him change Beths nappy. (who was looking after her, while Mummy was out playing bridesmaids) But if I read the above thread right, he is going to do a two-hander? I dont know if he will have the skill to carry this off, he is a young lad after all. |
