I agree with this. DTC hasn't done a great job with the youth of the cast. I'm hoping that changes with perhaps Claudette's brood coming into the show, but I'm unsure. Ben & Jay are the only decent ones there, with Whitney not doing anything other than being Lee's GF. Should be something to look at. |

Not surprising. Carol will be the last one to turn out the lights, with Pat, David, Bianca and all the kids now gone. Whitney will assimilate into the Carters. |

I can't help but feel that if Liam was a female character of this age group he would have been kept on until at least his 20's. |

If Liam was a male character who was played by a capable actor he would have been kept on until at least his 20's. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

I am still annoyed that Mo's other children/grandchildren haven't been cast. With Liam goes the last blood link to Pat. Of course there would never have been a better time to introduce them than when Pat got stuck with Dean(o) and co, but I would love to see what they make of the fact that she has put her illegitimate daughter before them (who they must have heard covered up the fact that her daughter was raped by her other uncle.) And as we now know, that was the least of her crimes. Mo has never been held to account for preventing Pat from making peace with her brother and that would have been a better way to write her out than the Fat Elvis twist. They could also have gone the other way and used them to keep her around (I imagine she's disappeared as she's of no relation to Stacey.) |

So, what Little Mix track are we hoping for during Liam's exit. Black Magic? Move? Little Me? DNA? Salute? How Ya Doin? (Is it sad I know that many?) |

Because that's what they played as Liam left Walford the last time to go and live with Ricky, following the "happy ever after" conclusion to the gang storyline that he was involved in. The bad old days of love and warmth with Lorraine Newman. |
