The only one I disagree with in that top 15 is Letitia Dean. She should be nowhere near the top 15.

It differs slightly from my personal Top 15, and I'm gutted that Shane just missed out, but that's a great collection of actors. The scores are mighty close from here on in.

Jamie Borthwick is good but he's not THAT good. Maybe one for the unpopular opinions thread?

Propably-My guess is that Jamie and Nitin will be next to go followed by Ann and Rudolph-after that your guess is as good as mine.

Letitia Dean and Nitini Ganatra are long overstaying their welcome now, Letitia especially.

I'm surprised she made it that far but she's not that bad.... I don't think she should be in the top 15 but it baffles me that some people have a problem with the actress.

I don't have a problem with the actress, I have a problem with the acting. It's not very good, it's very camp, with lots of pouting and arm folding, very theatrical. I gave her a five.

Quoting limited to 2 levels deep

Oh I see :) - yeah I'm genuinely surprised she is the top 15. I don't think she is that brilliant but I do think she is alright. I think the camp mannerisms is very "Sharon" as she has always been like this. But I don't want her to be in the top 10 because Linda henry, Lacey Turner, Diane Parish, Lindsey Coulson all deserve it etc :)

I think Tish is better than Ann and Laurie, but then I would have also put Shane in the top 5, so it's swings and roundabouts. It's been a fascinating thread for sure! Daniel68, a big shout out and many thanks to you for all the effort and time you've put into this.

I think Shane might just have crept into my top five as well.

Thank you :) I've enjoyed doing it, and there's plenty more to come, starting with a tie for 14th place coming later this evening.

Acting is one of those things were we can not be wrong or right. I don't rate Linda Henry as amazing as some do. She is not a bad actress but (apart from last night) I felt of late she phones it in the usual screetching and shouting etc maybe the actress was bored of the repetition I don't know. Her performances although solid have never moved me. I gave her an 8. Though had it been done after last night would have been a 9 to be fair. In fact I would say Dyer is a better actor and has actually moved me at times. I think he is better than Bright too.

Whereas Lindsay, Jake, Letitia, Steve, Diane etc have all done things that have actually moved me. So that must count for something. Although Carol is not my favourite character the acting is flawless and that is why she got my 11. She can always move me even with terrible material and not once have I not bought it. Such a shame we are losing her.

I do hope the results we keep it fun and not have a pop at people for their choices. We are all reasonable adults right? I am speaking up for the few who mentioned not just on here as we saw but privately they don't like the reaction they get simply for a different opinion and mentioned this thread.
Thanks Daniel.

Your approval is neither desired nor required.

Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism".

I think the top 5 will be (in no particular order) Jake, Kellie, Lacey, Jessie and Adam

I'm disappointed Shane didn't crack the top 15, I was hoping he'd sneak into the top 10.

I think we still haven't had the Mitchell tie so I'm guessing Letitia and Jamie go next.

Jay really deserves a big story doesn't he?

I think it's a great top 15, and in my opinion there are three on that list who aren't as good as the others, and they are Nitin, Linda and Ann. I wasn't expecting Jamie to be this high up the list, but I'm really pleased that he is.

Definitely. He has shown on numerous occasions how well he can act so I can only assume he will be in more episodes once Kathy returns.

I am pleased with the top 15. I would definitely have Steve McF, Lindsey Coulson, Linda Henry and Do Parish in the top 10. The only one I don't really agree with is Letitia Dean. She isn't as good as a lot who have been voted out.

I agree but I think Nitin Ganatra isn't that good in the list too.

I think Nitin Ganatra and Letitia Dean are great. I always enjoy their theatrical performances. Their characters aren't exactly the down to earth type so it works. If Lindsey Coulson doesn't win it will be a crime but I'm hoping Steve McFadden is near the top too. Linda Henry isn't anything special. All she does is shout and cry. I'd put most of the top 15 above her if I'm honest. Nice to see Cora and Jay in the top 15. Jessie Wallace is really ropey at times. She lives and dies by the material more than most but she's excellent when given good stuff. Adam Woodyatt is a marvel. The only character I have a genuine love/hate relationship with. He was breathtaking in the live. Kellie Bright is nothing special but she's okay in small doses. Jane is a dependable actress but her character is vile. Diane Parish is great but Denise is boring.

Lindsey for the win!

I'm surprised Shane Richie ended up this high. He's capable when given the right script but the guy just plays himself 99% of the time. Others have been punished for laziness despite their talents. I'm not sure why he hasn't been.
