I would imagine that Jasmine Armfield, Laila Morse and Eliot Carrington are all currently hanging by a thread. |

48th JASMINE ARMFIELD Average: 3.97 ![]() Highest Score: 6 (Planck, TellyAddict, weewoman, King Billy, Blades' Receptionist, Sey) Lowest Score: 1 (Jack1997, NevermindMe) Character Average: 3.74 Character Result: 47th Well, she's beaten mother. This was never going to be a high placing for Armfield - we've hardly seen her and what we have seen of her has been very 'everyday' and nothing particularly challenging. I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with the actress, and I'm sure she'll improve soon. Shamelessness: very well cast looks-wise and musically talented but her dodgy accent drives me mad TaintedRose: I’m sure she’ll grow with age, but right now, she’s just a bit meh. MrSunshine: She hasn't done enough to deserve a stronger mark. Zachary: One of the weakest female cast members. Blades' Receptionist: We haven't seen much of what she can do but she's OK with what she's done so far. Cam: Not poor but not standout. Standard teenage actress. Jin: I'm sure she will blossom. Katie: I don't feel I've really seen enough of her to decide, but I don't think she stands out in comparison to some of the other young actors over the years. Mr. Right Her accent is all over the place, she’s unlikely to ever set the screen alight with her acting ability although the actress definitely has a natural musicality. *Betty*: A young actress who hasn't had much to do to prove herself or develop, however hasn't been offensive viewing but also not quite set the screen alight. Planck: Considering she has to work with Natalie Cassidy in a lot of her scenes, she is doing rather well. King Billy: Early days here. Too soon to gauge an opinion. See You Slater: She isn’t bad bad, but she’s still as wooden as the coffin we’d all love to see her on screen mother be buried in. Mrs Peel: Room for improvement. Keep her normal, but at odds with her putrid mother. Mitchells 42: Really not seen much of what she can do, but she seems to struggle with big scenes and large amounts of dialogue. 47th LAILA MORSE Average: 4.06 ![]() Highest Score: 9 (MrJames) Lowest Score: 0 (Cam, Katie) Character Average: 5.69 Character Result: 23rd Look at that then - Big Mo came 23rd yet Laila Morse came 47th. Everyone loves Big Mo, don't they? I think part of that is that we can all see how dire an actress Laila Morse is, but we still love her anyway. No-one seems to know if she'll be on EastEnders again, but if it isn't, then it'll be her character, not her acting, that we'll miss. *Betty*: Never really felt any emotional connection with Mo. Shouts a lot. Zachary: She's never really there to be honest. Mr. Right She’s nothing to write home about but nowhere near as bad as people make out. Jin: bless her, she's having the time of her life - why should she or any of them care what some nobodies on the internet think of their skills! Cam: Horrible. Mitchells 42: OK in small doses but clearly struggles with scenes where she has more than about 5 lines Mrs Peel: Good at what she does, but more Fat Elvis. MrSunshine: Can be very good but can also be very bad. Katie: I quite like her in small comedy scenes, but other than that I don't think she's particularly good. Blades' Receptionist: She's good and can be very funny. TaintedRose: She's just dreadful. 46th HIMESH PATEL Average: 4.33 ![]() Highest Score: 10 (Katedahlia) Lowest Score: 0 (Mr. Right, Gangstress, See You Slater) Character Average: 4.82 Character Result: 35th To say that the Masoods are such a popular family, Tamwar really is the one that lets them down. Himesh too. Has there ever been a duller acting style? Ever? Tamwar Masood is a boring character, but that isn't helped by Himesh Patel who sounds genuinely depressing whenever he speaks. It's just so flat! Monotonous and bland. The general consensus seems to be that Himesh Patel=Tamwar Masood. Come on Himesh, put a bit of life into it! Mr. Right: Playing himself. See You Slater: I’m not sure what has happened to his acting. He never used to be THIS bad. holly: I do think he's playing himself but he's a unique character and I think he keeps up his performance well TaintedRose: Tamwar can be funny occasionally, but I don’t think much of Himesh as an actor at all. Gangstress: Terrible. One note. Mrs Peel: Great Straight. More rude Masood. MrSunshine: Has made me cry on two occasions. The first was when Syed was outed to the square and he asked asked why the family couldn't be there for one another and the second when he dove into the fire to rescue Afia. He also seems to be the voice of reason in the Masood household of late. HOWEVER when he's bad he's TERRIBLE. Like watching someone in a coma walking and talking...but still being in their comatose state. A skill in itself. Cam: Monotone. Boring. Plays. Him. Self. Blades' Receptionist: I always remember the scene where Tamwar shouted at Masood and got hit - Himesh is brilliant at funny, awkward Tamwar, but that showed how good he can be at dramatic scenes. Mitchells 42: Seems to play himself. And not well. *Betty* Decent enough for his background role. Zachary It's almost as if Himesh doesn't really care, I get Tamwar is a bit quirky but it seems like he puts no effort into his scenes at all. Planck: Uch. |

Surely there's troll scores here? Rebecca getting a 6? Big Mo a 9? Tamest a 10? I know acting is subjective and can cause divisive opinions but seriously, this is delusional. Edited by NevermindMe, 22 Jun 2015, 18:54.

Your approval is neither desired nor required. Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism". | |

I gave Sloman a 10 because it takes skill to act as bizarrely as he does. And Armfield got a 6 because she's not particularly amazing but I don't think she's ever been shit either. She's definitely a lot better than Mimi Keene. |

45th 45: LUISA BRADSHAW-WHITE Average: 4.69 ![]() Highest Score: 7 (Katedahlia, MrJames, WalfordE20, Cupcake, TellyAddict, weewoman, *Betty*, Blades' Receptionist) Lowest Score: 0 (Mr. Right, Mrs Peel, Cam, Jack1997) Character Average: 3.85 Character Result: 46th In the midst of the Carter domination of March and April, Tina seemed to be the one that avoided too much criticism. People appeared to be warming to her as she showed a more mature side to her, and there's no doubt that Bradshaw-White was good during this time. What I'd love to know is what the original character description for Tina was. Is she really meant to be as dim as she is, or is Luisa just making it that way? Probably doesn't help her that she's spending so much time with the equally unpopular Natalie Cassidy. Gangstress: Pretty decent actress even though her character is utter shit. See You Slater: Nothing special. *Betty*: Luisa plays an annoying immature character, but I see her as Tina and can sympathize at time. The writing lets her character down. King Billy: Dislike the character, don't think she'd be able to cope with any heavy material. Mr. Right: Woefully bad. holly: never liked this actress, her voice is too moany, she just gets ony nerves! Blades' Receptionist: She does well with the material given. Mitchells 42: Every line that Tina has, Luisa seems to play it in a very uncertain way and it makes the character seem genuinely stupid. Which I don't think is the point. At all. TaintedRose: She makes me cringe, but she's not bad. Zachary: I thought she was shit until the whole Stan storyline, very much improved my opinion on both her and Tina. MrJames: She always rises to the challenge when required to. Mrs Peel: This casting smacks of "friend of Dom." Atrocious actress playing an eminently unlikeable character. Planck: Tina might be a terrible character but Luisa plays the part fine. MrSunshine: Has her good moments but has had more bad. weewoman: she does play that obnoxious immature type quite well and manages to get on my nerves in her portrayal Cam: Appalling. Whiney voice. 44th 44: DANNY BOY HATCHARD Average: 4.83 ![]() Highest Score: 8 (Mr. Right, See You Slater) Lowest Score: 0 (Jade) Character Average: 4.34 Character Result: 42nd Not a good score for Danny. I was a little surprised though - I find him totally inoffensive. By no means do I think he's anything spectacular, but I think he could've ended up much higher. I suppose the main issue is that he's just a bit boring, a bit bland. What he really needs is one big scene to get himself noticed and impress people. As a few people have said here, he needs to sort his facials out. Also, is it me or is Lee completely anonymous at times? He's the only Carter never to get a duff duff which I find telling. Gangstress: Very wooden. holly: thought the scenes with mick after the new baby were really flat, I don't think he's been great lately Mr. Right: Shining with potential that I feel he’ll never reach within the constraints of playing Lee. Cam: I like Lee and Danny-Boy, but his "smell the fart" acting does my hypothetical tits in. MrJames: I think he's actually really quite good, but his character hasn't been explored in enough detail for me to give anything higher that a 6. Mitchells 42: Not great, not terrible. Average. Good singer though. TaintedRose: He has potential. Mrs Peel: Great everyman character. Pair him up with Lola and don't waste him on Whitney. Zachary: He needs to work on his facial expressions, like a lot. *Betty*: Subtle actor with potential waiting to be explored. Blades' Receptionist: When he's been given the chance, he's proved how good an actor he is. MrSunshine: This is a character? I thought it was a piece of cardboard they used to pack the Carters house for family dinners. 43rd 43: LIN BLAKELEY Average: 4.86 ![]() Highest Score: 7 (holly, Planck, TellyAddict, weewoman, See You Slater) Lowest Score: 2 (Katedahlia, TaintedRose) Character Average: 4.44 Character Result: 40th I find Pam unbelievably irritating. I don't know if she's meant to be this way, but I really can't stand how she gets involved in everyone's business. And I don't rate Lin Blakeley, but my one positive thing to say about her is the scene between her and Paul in his first week where they sat on the bed and discussed Lawrie was brilliant - that was emotional. But apart from that, I can't remember much she's done, and this result shows it. Mitchells 42: Pam annoys me to hell and back, but I think she's well played Shamelessness: not great at the deeper material but I love her characterisation and the everyday scenes. Mrs Peel: They're trying to push her as the new Dot. Very intense and stagey. TaintedRose: Not as bad as her on-screen husband, but still pretty bad. Blades' Receptionist: She's ok. Cam: Not great but she's good in the role See You Slater: Her character is annoying, but she plays the bumbling gossip quite well. MrSunshine: Better than her hammy husband but she has that head bobbing when she's upset thing going on. Like a little bobbing cat. Zachary: She would make a great comedic actress, EastEnders however is not for her. King Billy: Meh. Annoying. *Betty* I can't quite get it yet. Is it down to the actress or the character? But she's bloody annoying, but then she has real moments of warmth and that oozes out of the screen. Mr. Right: She’s nothing special but not at all offensive. |

Are you serious?! These three ranking lower than Bobby Beale, the child actor? All three of the above are great natural actors. It proves some view the show in a totally different perspective and justifies the bizarre comments they make. |
