Some of the offensive comments about the looks of EE's actors - particularly Declan Bennett - are so uncalled for. And actually really vile. Is that what we've come to? Judging performances based on the way an actor looks?
I just want to say that I did say he looked stoned half the time but I really believe that's part of his acting attempts. He does a kind of look far off into the distance and speaks slowly that makes him appear somewhat stoned. I don't think that's what he's going for so it was an attempt at an acting criticism. Just not put clearly.

Next scores are on their way. There's four rather than the usual three in this next exit, I'm feeling generous!

32: MADDY HILL
Average: 5.94

Highest Score: 9 (King Billy)
Lowest Score: 0 (Gangstress)
Character Average: 6.47
Character Result: 15th

I'll be honest, I'm not a Nancy fan, or a Maddy fan. Like Mitchells 42 says, there's something I don't like about her and I can't put my finger on what it is. However to say that she's a relatively new actress to the show she hasn't done too badly at all here, finishing way ahead of several Carters. The fact that her character came 15th whilst the actress is only 32nd tells a lot though.

Gangstress: Cannot act at all.
TaintedRose: She’s good enough, nothing special though.
Mr. Right: I love Nancy but I feel that Maddy is a little rough around the edges and can be so inconsistent.
Mrs Peel: Lovely actress, but lay off the funny voices
Blades' Receptionist: She's good but underused.
holly: I really like Maddy, I think she could grow into an amazing actress at EastEnders
King Billy: She is great.
MrSunshine: Don't get the Maddy Hill hype. The character's better than the actress.
*Betty*: Has weird diction sometimes but has potential, strong character which improves her chance.
weewoman: she is at her best when she is out of the family fould. In scenes with Himesh, she lifts him up.
Mitchells 42: There's something about Hill's acting that bothers me and I'm not sure what it is. She's not terrible but I'm always very well aware I'm watching an actor play Nancy, if that makes sense?
MrJames: A very naturalistic and comfortable actress but some of her flaws can become quite exposed sometimes.
Cam: Sing song voices and staring into space with a gaping mouth open ruins her for me.
Katie: I really liked her at first but have changed my mind over the last few months.
Zachary: Great actress!

31: JAMES BYE
Average: 5.97

Highest Score: 9 (See You Slater)
Lowest Score: 4 (Jade, TaintedRose, Jack1997, WalfordCommon, McFudd)
Character Average: 5.77
Character Result: 22nd

I'm so pleased that James Bye is getting more popular. When he first came to the show I didn't like his acting at all, I found it bland, but then since live week he's been great. And yes, at times his acting is a little bit bland, but I think that's probably intentional. After all, they are pushing Martin as a very normal kinda guy. It's interesting that his lowest score is just a few 4s, not many others can say that. The biggest compliment I can pay him is that I've totally forgotten about James Alexandrou.

Mitchells 42: Reasonably good, but not really seen enough of him yet.
Blades' Receptionist: From what we've seen so far, James is good. I think once he's given something meaty to portray, he'll excel. I think James has a huge amount of potential. He and Lacey could be brilliant as a partnership.
weewoman: I never thought I would not miss James A - well we will never know how he would do this Martin, but I have only one Martin in my mind now and that is James Bye.
King Billy: Promising early signs.
Mrs Peel: Slowly improving. I like that they've put an air of Bradley about him
Mr. Right: Not seen much of him yet, however, the way in which he’s settled into the role so quickly must be a testament to his ability.
Cam: Decent. Still too early too tell whether he's really good or not, needs more material
*Betty*: I feel like we haven't seen enough from James yet, but he is certainly making the character of Martin his own.
See You Slater: I love the way he plays the awkward Martin, when he’s needed to he’s really been able to step up to the plate and act his socks off.
TaintedRose: Seems a bit unnatural.
MrSunshine: Starting to show promise but hasn't done enough. Yet.

30: JUNE BROWN
Average: 6.06

Highest Score: 9 (TellyAddict, ThingsDie)
Lowest Score: 1 (Cam)
Character Average: 5.97
Character Result: 20th

Not exactly a great result for an iconic character this. The word 'hammy' has cropped up eight times here. It's clear that we seem to think she overdoes it, and ends up putting in substandard performances. I have to agree. Whilst I love Dot, I'm not a June Brown fan, and I feel that she avoids a lot of flack because of her age and self-appointed status within the show. What I will say for her is that she's the only actor ever to be trusted with a solo episode.

Shamelessness: hammy and panto. The only member of the current cast who I get the impression thinks they are bigger than the show itself.
*Betty*: June can be so on point sometimes it feels bad giving her a 7. But she is a lazy performer. She only puts in the effort when the material is good. No denying though, she has created a wonderful character in Dot.
holly: impressive for her age but her voice is so irritating!
Gangstress: Overrated beyond belief.
Cam: Hammy as fuck.
Mr. Right: She’s produced more ham than a butcher’s shop. Gets away with a lot of mediocre performances due to her age and June Brown’s reputation for being a diva.
Blades' Receptionist: A very good actress.
Mrs Peel: Pass the ham, please, complete with the bobbing-headed dog
Zachary: I honestly don't think June is that great of an actress, she has had her moments but now I just feel like she doesn't care.
Jin: Sometimes hammy but great at conveying vulnerbility when Nick was back lurking and lovely performane at Jim's funeral
TaintedRose: She can be fantastic, but it does get a little hammy sometimes. All part of the charm if you ask me.
MrSunshine: The legend. Got this high for her solo episode alone but as the years have passed she's gotten hammy.
Katie: I can't believe I'm putting her so low, but when I think about it there are just a lot of people I think are better at the moment.
weewoman: yes, at times it is a bit ott, but Dot is allowed to be that. It was going to be a 7 but I have to add a bonus point for her age.
Mitchells 42: Often too hammy for me but very good at tragedy and drama. She's an icon. Which helps - a lot.
See You Slater: She's like Churchill the nodding dog with all that head bobbing she does.
MrJames: She's brilliant when she's good but she goes overboard more often than she should.

29: LINDA MARLOWE
Average: 6.36

Highest Score: 10 (MrJames, Planck, Elle)
Lowest Score: 0 (Mrs Peel, Cam)
Character Average: 4.35
Character Result: 41st

For someone that has only appeared in 13 episodes of EastEnders and hasn't been seen for two months, this is a good performance. She's been brilliant in every episode she's been in, and has played Sylvie to perfection. The depth and darkness that she portrayed was brilliant. Really, really good. Will we ever see Sylvie again? I hope so.

Mrs Peel: Don't come back.
Katie: I really don't like the character, but I think she's a pretty good actress.
Zachary: Loved her!
Mitchells 42: Doing very well as Sylvie. I believe every word and motivation.
Blades' Receptionist: She's played Sylvie well.
*Betty*: I haven't doubted for a second that she is Sylvie. I become immersed in her scenes.
MrSunshine: Terrific actress. Every scene she's in I pay attention. Not an easy character to play either.
Cam: Horribly hammy.
Mr. Right: I am yet to be disappointed with one of her performances.
weewoman: Love the layers she gives Sylvie
MrJames: I'm going to all out and give her a 10. Each and every one of her appearances has been faultless.
TaintedRose: I’m not blown away, but she’s obviously very talented.

Should be Letitia Dean though.

Surprised to see Sam go so soon but she hasn't been very good at all lately. June Brown has always been a dreadful ham so no love lost there. I don't really feel anything for Marlowe, she is serviceable but she just hasn't done anything particularly impressive on the show yet.

Interesting scores! Surprised Sam is so low but can understand as she has looked bored with EE recently. I was amazed I gave James Forde 8 so checked my scores and it seems my 3 has been mistaken for 8! :P

Wow, I didn't expect that. So Rita "Fred Elliott" Simons beat her!? Wow.
And by quite a distance
Sounds like Rita Simons made the top 20, maybe even 15 which I must admit really surprises me. For an actor in her age bracket I think she's quite weak.
