Completely agree. He done horrible things at times but I still rooted for him. Even Santer admitted Sean's exit was poor. I think they planned a longer arc for Sean but with Rob leaving it was never fulfilled 😞 |

What a perfect time to rediscover this clip. A.) A surreal Martin and Stacey moment. B.) Mystic Juley predicting Stacey's future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-p6PI1Wdgw |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

Max finds out about Stacey's pregnancy. It'll be interesting to see his reaction and I also hope if he saw her with Kush that he could try and talk her out of it, they've both had affairs. Max isn't the best person to dish advice out, but they've both been there with affairs and done it including with one another. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/eastenders/news/a656767/eastenders-spoilers-stacey-tells-shabnam-that-shes-pregnant.html#~phJQoHX3PJQmaF |

Stacey seems fine next week so either the key isn't anything too dramatic or she doesn't find out what it leads to

Preview for Thursday and Stacey's not happy with Lola. I don't blame her though as Lola can be quite mean sometimes and I actually feel sorry for Stacey at the moment. Nobody seems to have noticed she's struggling http://bbc.in/1dKs2tY |

Loved seeing this again. So weird to see young Dean(o) too. Oh if only these characters knew what was ahead of them... |

They all look so young and innocent, oh and Martin looks slightly different!

I actually forgot about the Martin recast. The Shabnam recast too actually. |

I was dreading the Martin recast but I think James Bye is brilliant, he is Martin, I thought id always be remembering james Alexandrou and comparing them but most them time I forget he was recast which is surely a sign that they've got it right. Same with Shabnam. Although to be honest she didn't make much of an impact last time. |

I think James Bye has been a success as Martin because he's not tried to replicate James Alexandrou's portrayal of Martin but just doing his own thing with the character. |

I'm not a fan of recasts but for some reason I could just accept Bye as Martin in his second episode. Ben was similar because I was just so glad to see the back of Pascoe's Ben, but it wasn't as instant or as natural as with Martin. It took me about three years to accept Jac Jossa as Lauren and I never accepted Hetti as Lucy. |

He really has and it shows, personally I prefer James Byes' version of the character than JA. I found Martin very dull, miserable and unlikeable under JA (maybe it was the writing to blame rather than the Actor himself), where as JB's version of the character is so much better IMO, he has traits of the old Martin like the ordinary guy vibe and that awkwardness, but he has injected more personality to the character than what was there under JA! |

I really enjoyed reading that. Lacey Turner knows her character so well. I hope Stacey/Martin work in the long term too. As annoying and unnecessary as this love triangle storyline is I agree with Lacey about how fun it is about her working with James, Davood and Rakhee. Four very good young Actors. And Stacey will definitely keep the baby I think.. |

I have a feeling that Stacey will lose her baby soon :(. Tonight's episode seems to foreshadow it. |

Oh no I hope not. Stacey has lost one child already, I don't think she will cope (especially with he Bipolar) if she loses another one. |

Baby Slater-Fowler is going to be born. And Kush is NOT the dad before any more speculation occurs. |
