Stacey has been an excellent Mum to Lily. I really don't want her palming her baby off to anyone who'll have it whilst she and Kush shag. We're guaranteed a scene where Shabnam's baby and Stacey's baby are on a playdate whilst Kush/Stacey fuck in the next room. |

Just got home, watched tonight's episode and got the shock of Shabnam being pregnant, came on here and got the double shock of Stacey being pregnant too... Mark my words Whitney will be next. It's a bit repetitive but I like the fact it cements Martin and Stacey together. |

Lacey, James, Rakhee and Davood are all good actors. Why are they being wasted on this? |

This is all wrong. I just am speechless. What is with this show right now? We had such an amazing year last year and this year started with such a massive bang. Now we have the most uninteresting love square where two characters, one a modern day legend, are being completely ruined. Two unneeded pregnancies. Two characters saddled with babies now. It's just so fucking ridiculous. I need to go and sleep now. Because this is not what I wanted for Martin and Stacey and now I'm feeling very Annie Wilkes. |
| "I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver | |

I really hope it doesn't play out that way and that there's more emotional depth and nuance to their decision to become a couple . I agree that the Kush factor is unhelpful and that the pregnancy is too soon but I suspect you may be a bit more satisfied with how they crystallise as a couple than you currently are . |

Wait, what?! Stacey already has a child you dimwits why would she need another to over complicate situations even further? I despair. That Stacey, Jean and the "key" week had better be good or I'll just go on a hiatus until August I think. |

It's like they can't be bothered to think of interesting storyline's at the moment so just go with pregnancies and love triangles |

Babies don't make relationships they are stressful when your in a good place. Many divorces happen for that very reason. I hate it when a baby is supposed to be what gets people together that isn't love. In the 90s they got that right with Grant and Tiffany. This is a joke and completely and utterly crap. She will stick with Martin because he got her pregnant? That's really orginal. Who will be pregnant next? Roxy? Sharon? Nancy? Cindy? Or maybe all the impossible Jane, Dot and Kathy. |

Your approval is neither desired nor required. Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism". | |

I really hoped they wouldn't do a pregnancy storyline for Stacey but what a shame. I think it's a huge shame that Stacey is ruined now.

This is like Santer's era all over again; Bert and Ernie, Beth, Matthew, Pearl, Ollie, baby Kazemi and baby Fowler. So far. Explains why they've got rid of Beth and we hardly ever see Lexi. |

Abi will get pregnant right after Ben announces he is gay. I can see the episode now, the revelation followed by Abi in in the bathroom looking at a pregnancy test cue the Duff Duff. |

Instead of having Shabnam 5 months pregnant, they should be doing an STI storyline, because Kush slutted himself around from woman to woman. |

It is a very true thing. Having a child strengthens things when your happy, settled, secure and ready. Many people it destroys them this doesn't mean happy ever after for them at all. If they were hell bent on Martin and Sonia they could have at least spent time bothering to explore their relationship them forcing them together. Shabnam and Stacey will fall out them bond around the time of giving birth no doubt. Its so tiresome and cliché and quite frankly a boring angle for all involved. Lacey was brought in for this nonsense? |

Treadwell-Collins added: "We have also got Jay and Lola - there is a big story for them which leads to Lola's departure (pregnancy?), Nancy and Tamwar - their relationship is going to up a gear quite massively and there are more twists and turns in that (pregnancy?). Also, Lee and Whitney which is going to take quite a serious turn as well (pregnancy?)." Roxy and Dean and Abi and Ben will be expecting by the end of the year too. Possibly Les and Claudette too. |

Ah don't give them examples of characters and couples that haven't had kids together yet it will give them ideas!
