Rob said he'd do a short stint, irrespective of his recent successes. I hope he does. |

I wouldn't say Stacey is getting a free pass at all. There have been loads of critical and negative comments across social media and I don't think that will change until she backs away from Kush even if she is having an episode. |

Since Stacey is going to be pregnant and its OBVIOUSLY gonna be Martin's (I doubt that they will give Dickface two children at the same time or even think about linking him with Stacey), did they already sleep together or are they gonna? |

I assume they already slept together or they will be in the coming week. |

I'm pretty sure a couple of weeks ago they were on the bed removing each others clothes so I'm guessing they did then. |

Apparently they jump back into bed today, so it could be either of the two that triggers the pregnancy. |

The last time two women of a similar age were pregnant at the same time it resulted in a cot death and a baby swap. The omens for this story are not good. |

I've been thinking since this was announced whether it will end with one of the babies not making it, but I didn't really know how to bring it up. It's just with all these pregnancies over the past year and a bit, there must be something different to be told here. I wouldn't be surprised if baby Fowler passed away. I do hope not though. I don't think my heart could really handle watching it. |

I think DTC would be stupid to have one of the babies die unless it is a miscarriage. If it is, I could see Shabnam being the one to lose her baby because they introduced Jade and even if it is to try to turn Dean into Walford's version of Luke Spencer or EJ DiMera (TimWill and Mrs Peel might know what I'm talking about), Shabnam will be involved in it even if its just a small involvement. After the shitstorm that was the baby swap (which was when I first started watching not knowing how HATED the story was until it ended early), I doubt there will be a baby swap either. Baby Kuzemi Masood would be 3/4's Muslim and 1/4 white anyway where Baby Fowler Slater would be full white so I doubt a switch would be feasible anyway. |

Lacey Turner would absolutely break my heart with a cot death storyline. I want to see Stacey and Martin be happy though, so I hope their baby survives. I do think one of the babies will inevitably sadly die though, and I can't see it being Shabnam's because she has had such a depressing few months already. |

Its a storyline that hasn't been tackled properly for so long in soapworld. I think it's about time we followed a character through their grieving process without the sensationalism of them getting their baby back again (Kat and Laurel). The only thing is it would no doubt begin with harrowing and truthful scenes, and then end in Stacey going after Kush again or something equally as out there. If it were to be tackled, it needs to be with some tact. Edited by The Other Slater Cousin, 29 Jun 2015, 22:07.

The sad thing about the baby swap is that if Kat and Alfie had returned to Walford as a happy, likeable couple full of joy and excitement because their first baby together was on its way, building up new friendships in the community, running the Vic, the future bright.. Then to have that followed by a cot death story where Tommy died would have actually been the perfect reintroduction for them and really powerful, instead it was all just a tacky, horrible mess. |

I would love to see a cot death story with Stacey and Martin. Heartwrenching, but it would cement them as a power couple for sure. Ultimately though, I think it would have to make them stronger, as it does in most cases in real life. |

The fact that most sites are asking "who's the daddy" is filling me with dread that Manho and Stacey DO sleep together. I know the baby is most likely gonna be Martin's, but still I don't want them to cheat. |

I don't think they will do a cot death though. I think this story will be about Stacey coming off her meds while pregnant and Martin dealing with her bipolar and also bringing a Fowler legacy baby into the mix |

![]() I will actually cry if it turns out to be Kush's. Did they sleep together? Pretty much zoned out every time they interact. |

The ramifications of such a story span so far as well. Other than the initial few months, you have all that loss at the core of this couple. The good days and the bad days. The first birthday. Every birthday. What happens if Stacey ends up expecting again? It's not a beginning-middle-end story but a loss that stays with the character forever. Soaps have the unique opportunity to take something like SIDS, and show the ramifications and effects of that over years. To show the struggle, but also show how one can deal with that. I'm not sure they will go down this route with Baby Fowler, but I do think it's a story a soap needs to tackle properly. |

Maybe this is what DTC meant all along when he promised act two for Stacey? She got her time to settle in, had to have the burden of a few secrets being kept that others chose to spill to her, she's fallen in love with her bessies fella, who wants his cake and eat it and also is using Martin, but is slowly warming to him. I feel sorry for Shabnam and when she finds out she'll have every right to be angry, even though Stacey is my favourite. We have the key, Jean returning and hopefully signs Stacey is leading up to another Bipolar. Lacey Turner is amazing and is doing the best she can with this love square SL along with Rakhee, Davood and James. I like the close rapport between those four characters and actors! |

I don't think Baby Fowler will die. Simply because this is Baby Fowler, and the child of one important legacy character and another important, iconic Millennial character. |
