So in the space of an interview he managed to contradict himself? One second he's admitting the fact that he's making excuses and the next he's denying it.

I think that anything Dan Osborne says in an interview is likely to have been discussed first with a very intelligent mouthpiece who's advised him as to what to say.
Well he a Jacqueline were both interviewed by Ok Magazine. I say to my mum and dad in the heat of the moment I hate them. People say things in the heat of the moment everyone makes mistakes. He is not denying anything. He was asked: Dan, do you regret the things you said on the tapes that were leaked earlier this year? And then he was asked: As you say, being scared isn't an excuse for the things you said...
Also Jacqueline was asked: Have you listened to the tapes, Jacqueline?
I listened to them and I was completely shocked by what I heard - I thought it was disgusting but its something that we've worked through as a couple. Daniel has lost out on countless work opportunities because of it and he's had to deal with everyone passing judgement on him, so I think he's been punished enough though.

He got turfed off TOWIE for what he said on those tapes. Even they have standards. At the moment, Jossa is the earning power in that relationship.

If her career flows whilst his ebbs, I'm not certain his ego would be able to sustain something like that. The fact remains that he got two different women pregnant within a year of each other. Jack Branning in life imitating art.

There's a difference between saying you 'hate' someone and saying that you will 'cut them'.

This discussion isn't really going anywhere and it's not really on topic so I'll just leave it now.

Well he regrets what he said. We shouldn't hate him for what he said should we he may be a really nice person for all we know. We shouldn't judge someone unless we know them personally. People can change and he says he regrets what he said on the tapes. If he was violent then there ie no way Jacqueline would be with him right now.

Sounds like a grade A tosser to me. But then again, all those TOWIE folks do.

I've seen him being violent first hand. Therefore, case closed.

You should go public with all the secret celebrity incidents you have seen first hand. I'm sure the Sun would pay you a mint ;)

Does anyone know what Dan Osborne had for dinner last night? I had a little daytime nap and woke up in a cold sweat over this. I tried looking for EastEnders news on the subject because thats where all the best TOWIE news comes from but its just full to the top of these random people called Libby or Kat or Alfie. I don't want to read about those people.

Lauren will be back for Max's trial episodes later this year before she makes her full time return in the new year: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/tv/6605131/Jacqueline-Jossa-return-to-EastEnders-for-trial-run.html

So she's back for a brief stint, and then she's back for good.

I'm calling it. Max is found not guilty and he returns to New Zealand with Lauren, leaving Abi to stew in her own juices.

It dismays me that Lauren is yet another one who's been roped into "not telling on Bobby."

She'll threaten to expose Bobby but flees the country when Ian counters with a threat to send her to Devon.

With her reputation I wouldn't be surprised if she went made her own video too. By the time Bobby does learn the truth he'll have about 50 videos in his inbox to watch.

Very pleased Lauren will be back. To say she was Newman's golden girl I much prefer her under DTC.

I definitely think this will happen too.

I hope she kicks Abi round the Square to be honest. I love Lauren now, hope she comes back fully matured. I do hope they go for the band aid method in terms of recasting Peter too to be honest. He's needed.

I had this vision of somebody in the court saying "Lauren Branning" and she interrupts them. "I'm not Lauren Branning," she shows off a ring on her finger. "I'm Lauren Beale."

Then bring Peter back with Lauren and the baby. A new generation of Beale's.
Massive thanks to NickM for this wonderful signature! :)

I am really praying we get a recast Peter sooner than later. He's such a big hole in the Beales right now, and Ben is never coming back. Why not just take the "ripping off the plaster" approach.

"I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver

They might do a Sam and bring back Thomas Law. Although his acting leaves a lot to be desired... But that didn't stop them with Daniela.

God I hope not. Talk about bland. I think the best thing to do is try and match Ben's interpretation as best as they can, but still have room for growth.

I think they should try and make the focus getting someone who will likely stay around. It was obvious that Ben wouldn't be long term when he came in, whereas its obvious the likes of Harry Reid are more committed. Peter Beale is too important for ambitious actors. :D
