The fact that the Cokers/Hubbards are the only ones getting detailed spoilers shows just how irrelevant they are.
Warning: Posts made by The Local Butcher may contain sarcasm, frustrated expressions of fatigue in the face of Eastenders' neverending insanity, desperate and ill-conceived attempts to be funny, controversial opinions and nuts. Not necessarily in that order.

Given the Lucy storyline has limited spoilers due to the secrecy around the character who will be arrested the focus is on other characters in spoilers and the Cokers and Hubbards are hardly irrelevant they're part of the show therefore stories will focus on them too.

It's good that Lucy's case is getting so much airtime in the next couple of weeks after the lack of it in the last few months.

Well they're on the show. Nothing is going change that at the moment just like nothing can change the fact that the resurgence of the Lucy plot makes it painfully obvious just how little they have to do with everything else.

I actually think the Centenary will be quite interesting. At least we'll get to see Paul again.

Is this the week of Les' death? I'm pretty sure the character has been written out.

I had the impression that Les would die as soon as this centenary was mentioned.

I genuinely misread the Cokers' "centenary party" as being their cemetery party.

I don't think Les will be leaving: His exit would've been announced as Sloman is one of Britain's main established TV/theatre actors and getting him to be a regular on a soap opera is a big deal.

I know the way Sloman plays Les is animated and over the top but it fits the character because he was introduced as a comic one shot guest character. He is a different type of character to our cast, and I'd rather have him over Dot.
