You don't know that Lauren definitely knows

I spoke to Lauren on Facebook and she doesn't know.
You never spoke to Lauren on Facebook. I think Lauren knows but can't come back while she is heavily pregnant.

I think she knows. That's probably where the conflict will come from. Is Lauren willing to send a child to prison?

I hope she does know either way. It gives her an interesting role on the show and as Lucy's best friend and the mother of Ian's grandchild, really cements her role in this story.
Bobby will not be sent to prison given his age. There should be no conflict for Lauren about telling the truth to get an innocent man, her Dad, out of prison.

Well no. He could be put in a youth detention centre. There's no certainty that he wouldn't be punished, and Lauren would know that Bobby doesn't know he killed her, so would she be willing to ruin this child's life. Like Cindy said, as a mother, she understood why Jane did what she did, and Lauren will have Baby Beale when she comes home. There would be a massive conflict there.
"I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver

I don't think a new mother would want 'killer Uncle Bobby' near their precious new baby. She'll be relieved if he's sent away and she moves back to the square.
