Yes. Capable actress, potential, and would provide Denise with meaty drama.
Massive thanks to NickM for this wonderful signature! :)

My son is in the kitchen eating a biscuit.
It would be nice, but I've never cared for her - also, it doesn't seem likely.

No, boring character and the actress was very weak.

As long as it doesn't revolve around Kim sounds good to me.

Not really. If it happens it happens, but it would just be another character stealing Denise's limelight.

Truth is, although I like Denise a lot, I never cared for either of her girls. Libby was a stuck-up, condescending pill, and Chelsea was just as stuck-up, but in a shallow, self-absorbed way. I don't think the actress was anything to write home about either.

She was recently in an episode of the BBC One series "The Interceptor," which turned out to be a pretty dire series and a reunion of various EastEnders' actors. There was Jo Joyner playing a brunette version of Tanya - indeed, every part she's played since she left has been Tanya; this was brunette Tanya, "Ordinary Lies" showed us Mancunian Tanya; there was Gary Beadle, playing Paul Trueman with a different name - he even had a gangland execution and had his body dumped in a skip. Then there was Tiana Benjamin, playing a dim-witted, shallow and self-obsessed hairdresser, chasing after a rich, wideboy boyfriend - in other words, Chelsea.

No thanks.

Absolutely. Tiana Benjamin is a very talented actress if you ask me and Chelsea was criminally underused. There is so much potential there.

Not one of the better characters, not too fussed to be honest, I suppose it would give Denise more to do which is a good thing.

I was a Chelsea fan. This is the perfect time for a Chelsea return due to the situation with Dean. She was the closest thing he has had to a true love and it'd be interesting how he would react tonher nowadays.

I'd like Chelsea to come back, fairly successful and having made something of herself so that Denise can be proud, and then the layers are pulled back to reveal a darl and twisted secret that doesn't involve babies.

Tiana was underrated. She gave a beauitful performance when Denise was suspected dead. I also loved her spark scenes with Sean. She was a good match for Rob, more so than when they paired him with Carly or Tanya.

Lacey was the golden goose back then and it meant no one else had their moment in the limelight. So much wasted potential as well, Chelsea, original Shabs, Pretti, Li and even Danielle.

Yes please, I do think Chelsea was the stronger character out of the sisters, and the better actor.

I'm surprised to see this much negativity. I always got the sense people liked her and wanted her back which I never understood. Chelsey was the epitome of a selfobsessed drama queen. Everything was always about her and she'd go into a meltdown over the equivalent of a broken nail. You just wanted to slap some sense into her.

I don't care about superficial characters like Chelsea but will put up with her in return for more Denise on my screen.

Sorry, I disagree with this. He always made himself a nuisance, buzzing around her - but then he buzzed around Dawn and (shock, horror!) Shabnam I, and all treated him with appropriate disdain. (That is, until in this reincarnation, Shabnam got drunk enough to have sex with him and have his child).

Chelsea showed enough interest in him to serve her own selfish (and somewhat ignorant) purpose in manipulating him to lie to the police about Patrick's mugging, to frame Sean.

IIRC, when Dean returned to prison, he was so angry, he scared the living shit out of Chelsea.

Weak, obsessed character played by a one-trick pony actress.

Yep this is how I see it too. Denise has been around for nearly 10 years. She knows everyone and everyone knows her. She doesn't need someone brought back to give her a reason to be given a storyline.

No offense but that's total rubbish, Tiana Benjamin was in the show for four years and she had more than enough time and material to prove herself as a good actress and IMO she failed miserably, I realise you have a different opinion regarding her acting ability but I don't know how you can say she didn't get her chance to shine because she certainly did.
