Why do I feel that Vincent and Denise bickering is going to end up in an illicit kiss?
I admit it sounds like it. Remember what happened the last time Michelle bickered with Grant...

Shabnam loses her baby on the Friday and by the next Thursday it's all about the Carters? Really?

This show should be renamed "oh never mind". Nothing seems to matter. People find out about Bobby. Oh never mind that, they're not going to tell. Lee is depressed? Oh never mind that, it's not like we're not going to follow his journey. My sister has been spying on me, has previously killed my boyfriend and is clearly utterly deranged? Oh never mind that I'll forgive her immediately. Shabnam loses her baby? You'll see their immediate reaction and that'll just have to do. Never mind about day 3 or 4 after they lose the baby. We've got more important things to do. Call us in 3 or 4 weeks and we might just check in.

Umm... NO.

This is not just block storytelling anymore. There is no excuse for dropping storylines less than a week after they start. It is utterly taking the piss and Eastenders does it way to often.

And yeah. I know they might still feature this storyline on the Thursday and the Friday but the fact that it isn't deemed worthy enough to mention is in itself problematic. Clearly it's not important enough.

I agree.

Its really annoying. How do they expect us to stay invested in storylines, if they keep dropping them? Hopefully, the Masoods will still be in the episodes.

Reminds me of Comfort from Casualty, back when I used to watch it. I wonder what happened to her.

An actress that would suit EE. I'm sure she played a minor guest role many many years back. I'll have to check my guide.

I only ever saw Comfort when I was recently watching all of the old Holby City episodes, during the crossover at the school where she gets attacked in the ambulance. I liked what I saw.

I am really looking forward to revisiting realistic human drama after the convoluted and perverse Beale-Mitchell saga. The balance between the Masoods and Carters looks skewed however, particularly in the wake of Shabnam losing her baby.
