I wonder why they didn't do it last month when Denny been absent for months before briefly reappearing again.

Denny appears out of the cupboard for his monthly appearance to stock up on biscuits; with a new head and probably a haircut.

I wonder if the lack of Denny appearances was something to do with the child actor Harry Hickles. Maybe he lives super far away from the studios or something.
The fact his been recast around school holiday time filming wise might also hints that maybe his parents wouldn't let him appear enough.

I'm gonna miss old Denny. I ironically stanned for him.

This seems to be him, going off of IMDb, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7401849/
What a freshed face little lad, I like him better already.

It's nice to know that we're going to have some kids knocking about square again soon. What with Denny being recast and Janet and William bound to feature more regularly once Honey returns not to mention the fact that Amy's getting a bit older now too

edit: and Lily of course (I keep forgetting about her for some reason).

I quite liked Harry, but hopefully the re-cast means we'll see Denny a bit more. I hope he's a good actor.

That's the most stage school name I've heard since Dottie-Beau Cotterill (the little girl who played Lexi).

Why do they always pick posh kids?

Harry Hickles and now Bleu Landau, They make the name Dennis Rickman sound very ordinary!

He might not be posh, might just have an unusual name, but have to agree they usually do go for the posher accents.

Why do they always pick posh kids?
because there are prerequisites to getting an audition in the first place. Things like having an agent or attending a stage school IE things only posh kids can afford.

All the recast Beale kids sounded very posh considering they were all born and brought up in Walford!

To be fair you don't need money to have an agent...well a decent one anyway they just take a percentage of your earnings but getting an agent to see you without being at a drama school is pretty tough. I'd like to think agents would go to school drama clubs or local drama groups but I don't think they do.

He looks more realistic to be Dennis and Sharon's son. The old Denny was too glamourous to be Den's grandson. Hopefully they keep highlighting Sharon's awful parenting skills.

She's not that awful. She's not the best mother but she loves Denny. I don't think they will do the overprotective mother storyline again.

When I saw the headline at the top of the forum I automatically thought it was about Dennis Rickman as in the one murdered by that guy we're not allowed to mention.

The last time I had a moment like that was when Denny got top billing in his debut episode over Letitia Dean.

I do think blue bae bourbon or whatever his name is has something Nigel Harman about the way he looks. It may be possible when we see him that he has some Gavin expressions too.

Agreed McFudd. She's doesn't always get it right, just like any parent but she loves him more then anything especially since she thought she would never be able to have a child of her own. Her and Dennis's little miracle!
